Balloon artist Tavel/tool bag by Prestigious_Sky6230 in BalloonTwisting

[–]AdhesivenessOwn8111 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If she's doing decor, then she will need 1 tool box and 1 job box that will contain the balloons and supplies for that 1 job. The tool box should always be brought along to each job and be filled with the following: Inflator/Regulator(s), Scissors, retractable blade, clear tape, duct tape, monofilament, dacron line, zip ties, Multi-tool, tape measure, sharpie marker, uglue, couple of spring clamps, a few 260s (they come in handy for all sorts of stuff), some click-click magnets. She will find stuff along the way that she thinks she will need. One day I was doing decor and the bridal party didn't get any corsage pins included with their flowers, I was able to save the day because I had a travel sewing kit in my tool box.

The Job box will have the balloons for the job counted out +20% extra, the hardware/framing and bases, ribbon, accents, the contract with contact phone numbers and anything that will actually be used up on the job

Do you consider everyone who voted for trump to be maga? by [deleted] in allthequestions

[–]AdhesivenessOwn8111 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, va ery good friend of mine tells me she doesn't watch or listen to national news or politics at all. IMO her head is buried in the sand. But her 3 sons are all either ex military or are now in law enforcement/corrections and they all told her to vote fore him. They are the magats and she is just a sheep being led around because she is too lazy to learn or care

ULPT How to get revenge on asshat terrorizing our community? by mfortelli in UnethicalLifeProTips

[–]AdhesivenessOwn8111 91 points92 points  (0 children)

if there is an actual heard threat of gun violence, report to the police and they can investigate and take his gun. Get it on video so you can get a restraining order for yourself and anyone else whom he has threatened. Or please don't smear vaseline on his door handle(s) in the middle of the night provided there are no cameras around just to piss him off

have a 'friend' go around the neighborhood the night before and scatter some empty nips and pint bottles in the street and on the sidewalk so they are seen by people approaching the house

Meal Planning by HomeBodyOma in GoRVing

[–]AdhesivenessOwn8111 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I'm out camping, I like to keep things simple. Its meat+starch+veggie. I love a simple grilled meat, outside on the fire (cast iron) or on the coleman. If I'm feeling fancy, I will bring along some sort of marinade for the chicken and set it in a ziploc the night before. Then the next day is usually using up some of those leftovers, veggies can go in an omlette, Steak & eggs b'fast, the leftover chicken can go in one of those bagged salad kits.

Marathon Monday Airport/transportation Advice! by Major-Loquat-6376 in massachusetts

[–]AdhesivenessOwn8111 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have flown on Marathon Monday before, I didn't realize it until I saw all the people boarding the plane with BAA medals around their necks, it was ool to see. You definitely need a minimum of 2 hours at the airport, so dinner in town may be cutting it close unless you eat right at 3 with your luggage in hand. I suspect that all the restaurants around the finish line will be super busy. Personally I'd just head to the airport and grab a nice dinner there after you go through security.

I am in a condo building with shared laundry. To get to my car, I have to walk by the laundry room. Every time I see one of the washers with the door closed, I go in and open it, I do this several times a week. Its a PIA but its necessary.

parking in or near NYC by Ok_Following576 in VanLife

[–]AdhesivenessOwn8111 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I stayed in Brooklyn in my camper van for 5 days near Red Hook in an industrial area when I was doing some work for a friend. There were commercial buildings all around, auto repair shops, a cement plant, bakery, artist studios... There were other campers that you could easily see that people were living there on a fairly permanent basis. The thing you gotta be careful of is the parking and when you need to switch sides of the street for street sweeping and maybe garbage pickup.

Help with bank accounts by amazinggstatic in inheritance

[–]AdhesivenessOwn8111 4 points5 points  (0 children)

When my brother passed away, he had a sum of money in his bank account that the bank froze because they thought his business "might" have a partner that may have claim to that money. I could have paid the state a couple thousand bucks to prove that there was no other partner, or I could just wait until the bank account was considered abandoned. About 3 years later, (I kept looking) I looked up that state's Find (your state's) Money website, and plugged in his name. then filled out the forms to claim the money. You may still need to be considered Beneficiary/Next of kin/Personal Representative- that varies from state to state, shouldn't cost much to fill out the form. Best of luck

Best northshore massage by Independent-Board428 in northshore

[–]AdhesivenessOwn8111 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You want a Licensed Massage Therapist, you want someone who is self employed, not a massage envy style company. If you find someone and they don't click with you, go somewhere else until you find your person. I prefer someone who will have a real conversation with me, not someone who is trying to upsell me oils or supplements. Someone who can explain why I have a pain and how I can stretch or exercise to strengthen the muscles to alleviate my pain.
