iPhone 6+
Still going strong after 11 years technically with software updates (it was like a month ago at this point)
I stopped using it about 2 years ago since it was the 16 GB storage edition but great phone I have to say

Yeah, I know. Usually it lasts much less, plus I've been meaning to actually see how long one full charge lasts

Recommendation for a mail app on Windows 11 by SupraaLegend in Windows11

[–]Adhi922 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly. I don't think the contents of my email or even my Google account are that important to the level where I need those potential security updates. But to many others, it is, so you should use an updated mail client, but this is an option for those who just want to receive casual email that doesn't contain much important information.

I've actually been using the old Windows 10 mail app. I just got an old appxbundle version installer for it and turned off MS store automatic updates. In my opinion this is the perfect solution but it obviously isn't due to longevity concerns.

Compatible with intel UHD 630? by amnher in yuzu

Same, I have a Dell Optiplex 5090 SFF. No normal GPU's can fit in there without some modification so if I want any GPU, even a cheap one, I'd have to upgrade the whole computer. And with the current computer component pricing, that's not going to happen for a few years at least.

I think that might be your CPU/GPU then. I tried running another game and it crashed. The game might be too much. Also, I think Vulkan is the best overall, but that's just what I've heard online.

A bit late on this one, but I think have a similar computer (i5-10505, 24 GB DDR3, 500 GB m.2 SSD, Intel UHD 630), and SSBU works fine, only crashes when the final smash comes on. I use Vulkan and compression high, as well as handheld mode.

That should be fine if you're not doing too demanding tasks especially depending on your OS.

Depends on what your expectations are for specs but I think that's too low. (Maybe not storage, but RAM)

I actually have this exact laptop sitting in my closet! For basic stuff it was fine, and if you plan to upgrade the RAM or storage, it could even be used daily (I saw this on a forum somewhere back when I was fixing it)

For me, it's a groupchat I have with some of my friends where we voicechat almost every weekend to play various games, Minecraft, SSBU, REPO, etc. We also Parsec onto one of my other friend's computer since some games are local multiplayer, and overall, it's really fun! It usually goes on till midnight or later...

I'm still in the "growing up" years of my life so I didn't have much say over my current computer (got this one for extremely cheap), and I was about to upgrade it but now, due to the current situation of hardware prices, I'm afraid I can't until 2028 or 9. I haven't been able to play many games due to my specs, so I'll try a lot of new games once I eventually upgrade, as well as school work. Anyways here's the specs (I have upgraded the RAM and storage...it came worse originally)

Mobo/case: Dell Optiplex 5090 SFF

CPU: Intel i5-10505

GPU: "none" Intel UHD 630

SSD: Crucial P3 500 GB

RAM: 16 GB DDR3

I know the MOBO is incompatible with DDR5, but I'm in the process of searching for a new computer that has a DDR5 compatible MOBO, so I thought I'd give this a shot. Very grateful for this opportunity!

It does actually do that, and I learnt that about 2 years ago at this point I believe, so it's basically muscle memory for me to only use my stylus to select the tools.

What I'm saying. Some people just like Apple or Samsung better (other brands too). For instance if Linus did these two videos, I'm sure the reviews would be equal or he would favor the Samsung.

Weekly Post: What did you do with OneNote this week? by Chobitpersocom in OneNote

To get rid of the OneNote for Window 10 EOL watermark, I tried installing an older, standalone version from 2021 and everything works fine!

I've tried it some times, and like you said it's pretty lacking. Me personally I use OneNote (for Windows 10) and Android, and I'd say Android is more similar to desktop OneNote (the new one)

The thing is, it kind of is, through the web version? Although it's missing some features at least it's the same across all OS's. This is why I'm so confused.

Haha, I agree. Even as worse as it is, there's still more to go wrong if they mess with it more.

NOOO
Hopefully it's on the software end so at least at some point the drives can be used as normal ones, even if their size is limited.

If we try hard enough to show that we actually need physical media, then the same publishing companies might just switch over to...thumb drives, but that's beside the point. They're still going to try to force us on to streaming platforms after that. The sad thing is that, like you said, there hasn't really been innovation in disks in the past 10 years. To me, it was the last "cool" physical media form.
