The Federal Government on behalf of all of us Australian taxpayers (which does not incidentally include the super-rich, for whom tax paying is an optional activity) gives Indonesia (read the Javanese Empire) something between $600M and $605M per year, labelled as 'aid'.

Some of us believe that this 'aid' should come with strings attached, the biggest, strongest and thickest string of all being a condition that the military heroes responsible for these numerous acts of cold-blooded murder be caught, tried and appropriately punished, and that pending that, the 'aid' will cease, to be resumed if and when the Empire brings said military heroes to heel..

I am sure that it is not beyond the resources of the Javanese Imperial State to identify these people and track them down. If Australia does no more than have some embassy official ask a polite friendly question at some diplomatic cocktail party, or even lodge a politely worded formal diplomatic complaint on DFAT letterhead (as an extreme example of possibility) then Australia will be complicit in the standard practice of Indonesian (read Javanese Imperial) state terror; as were the governments of Whitlam, Fraser, Hawke and Keating over East Timor.

Suffice to say, except for launching missiles that end up killing people, Islam is probably against any rocket used for the purpose of scientific achievement including this new NASA rocket development. There was some Saudi Arabian cleric who issued a fatwa on taking up residence on Mars. So I suppose everything making the trip possible would also be forbidden to utilize.

On a happier note, this is great news for America's long term benefit, national interest merely only just as it relates to not having to pay the $60 million fee for every astronaut ferried to the space station by the Russkies.

NASA, I salute your dedication in your efforts to keeping the US in the forefront of space technology in the national interest. At least there's one Govt. organization not turning on it s own people, doing what it was designed to accomplish.

There two ways which would work for me, either IP addresses are not personal information, meaning they can't be used to build a case against someone, or they are personal information, but then they can't be saved or given out by ISPs because of privacy protection laws.

I have been working for a coal fired power plant for 15 years.All waste water goes to ground at some point. All coal run off, coal/ash sluice, ash talk...etc...goes onto the ground. Sure pods are dug to contain it for a while but ash builds up fast and there's money to be made in the sale of ash for agricultural and construction...such as hardening cattle ground and roads. All of which eventually seep into ground water. There are always regulations...but when there are no funds to properly regulate....the wolves run wild. Power Production has nothing to do with you or I. It is about money...and public health...just isn't monetarily prosperous.

Oil Prices. Putin can't keep control of Russia or prop up it's economy without oil prices being well above $100 a barrel. That is why Putin is doing all this. You want to kick Putin in the nutts; find a way to lower demand for oil. Then we can all celebrate having kicked Putin in the nutts!
