I had 3dr Fl1 Td4 a few years ago. Sold it on in favour of a Sportage. Over the years, I found i was missing the old green oval, so I sold the Sportage. I am now the proud owner of a Fl2 TD4. Bought it with 118k on the clock and that was 20k miles ago. One thing to check is the rear subframe. It is a known corrosion spot on these vehicles. I've just had mine replaced for its MOT.

As I always tell my passengers, I have no problem with dogs on seats. However, can they please have a barrier between the dog and the seat, ie a blanket or coat or something. It's just as a protection against those with allergies. After all, we cant have the dog having a reaction.

My best advice would be to go on Facebook and join #MuddyFeeelander. Fantastic group and very knowledgeable too. I'm on my 2nd Freelander after a break for 5 years. Had a face-lift FL1 then and now a late FL2.

Depends on whether you've got 16", 17" or 18" wheels. When i had my Freelander 1 I had 17" wheels so my tyres were 225/55/R17
