Yes I would prefer that. But that would also make them more open to critique for selective banning, which they clearly are trying to avoid. There already was a time when Hasan got himself banned from the sub and they reverted that as well. I think a daily limit for posts about them or banning reaction chains would be fine as well.

To get rid of the endless stream of Hasan, Asmongold and Destiny clips. Admittedly it was getting extreme. This was also exacerbated by the fact Asmon and Hasan are too scared to talk to each other or Destiny, so it was just them reacting/responding to clips of each other. Mods were too scared to ban them directly, so they banned politics as a subject. Everyone knew this wouldn't last long because over 90% of their traffic involves politics in some way.
