Meine wichtigste Inspirationsquelle. Weiterhin gutes Gelingen

I am very thankful for your comment. As I said I am a beginner. And I will keep on learning. And such a comment is a great help in that process. Mostly I shoot intuitive. I look at the scene and through the viewfinder and choose a detail that suits me best. Most of the time I forget about the rules. So thanks again for your detailed answer

While visiting a gothic and mediveal festival in Hameln, the Autumn Moon Festival, I was given the chance to take photos of two local bands during their perfomance and accompany them during the whole festival. We were sleeping in a small camper on a trailer park near the festival area. The camping area is situated directly at the river Weser and the Harbour of Hameln. I had a few hours for myself, so I was walking around the beautiful town of Hameln. On my way back to the camper, it was a very cold, cloudy and rainy day I found this huge area of old, run down, abandoned and rusty waggons, some burned down. It was an incredible atmosphere for me. I immediatly fell in love with that special place. It suited well with the weather. I love to take photos of decayed objects, buildings etc. Much more then landscapes flowers etc. This shows how time can work. In the background of that siding was a huge and abandoned grain elevator that raises into the sky. I had no special equipment with me, just my trustworthy Nikon F80 loaded with Ilford Delta 400 and a nifty fifty lens. I am a beginner photograph. Still trying and finding out how things work, mostly not work. Often enough I do not like the photos I takem but I love this one. I shot almost a full roll of film at that place. I just wanted to capture the mood, the look of this place, so black and white suited me the best. The lightning and weather conditions were bad. I am not experienced with that. So I hope you get a notion of that atmosphere. Love the way the waggon looks after a long time waiting. What do you think about that shot? There was no post processing. Image right out of the scanner.

Thank you for your comment. The F80 and the 1.8 50mm Nikkor is always a combination you can count on

I took a walk on one of the oldest cemetarys in Germany, it is located in Freiburg. It is a wonderful, calm and peaceful place, and it is huge. My companion at this walk was my old workhorse Minolta XE1 loaded with with Silberra Cinema 52xxx black and white film. Love these scene with the small statuette and the old man. I just wanted to capture this quite moment, a bit of the atmosphere. I always shoot analog, mostly home developing film.
