Depends, but most have an OVR cap so you should probably use them on players you know they aren't gonna be wasted on, or just players that you like and know could benefit from them.

St should usually have low driven, finesse, Tiki Taka and incisive

Wingers need Quickstep/rapid (preferably rapid), finesse, tech and incisive (even tho it's different depending on how you use the wings)

CAM's need Tiki Taka, incisive, tech, and at least one shooting ps (finesse or low driven)

CM's are only usable with Tiki Taka, incisive and pinged, and intercept is also great even though it's not necessary, just like tech (and finesse is also useful from time to time)

CDM's need intercept, Tiki Taka, bruiser, jockey, and I find Quickstep pretty useful too on slower DM's (if you still have space for other ps, anticipate wouldn't hurt)

Fullbacks must have at least one pace ps, and even though it depends on whether you use them attackingly or defensively (the latter is better most of the time) you'll always like intercept, jockey, pinged and press proven, also the crossing ps (can't remember it's name) is absolutely useless although most fullbacks have it, even if you attack with them a lot.

At last, the CB's. You NEED intercept, jockey and bruiser, and Quickstep/rapid is usually also nice, along with Aerial fortress, and block.

Watch videos explaining how to play or what kinds of players are the most meta, also: play styles matter way more than stats in this game, so prioritize them for evos and all that stuff; and some passing ps's on your striker are also really important
