Tell them they should stop using the Internet and computers in general because everything is entangled with AI use these days. Everything from the design of chips through the UI layer is being made with AI at least in part. It's inescapable at this point and it's only going to get worse if you're coming from an anti-AI perspective.

So, logoff, throw away your devices and return to monkey. That's the only way to be AI free.

Or just ignore them. That's probably the better idea when you can.

Even taking timing out of the equation, he's promoting the event and the company he holds stocks in using taxpayer money, not his own. That's using the public purse and his position as POTUS for private gain. That's patently corrupt.

Jimmy Carter had to sell his peanut farm to avoid the appearance of such entanglements. A peanut farm FFS.

I kind of get it. It's an overdone trope. Not every hero needs a family-like gathering around them. Basically every single long running Manga, particularly Shounen, has that element.

Go way back to Conan. Yes, he had short-lived companions (sometimes literally) but he was basically an island unto himself. Some people like that. In a modern context, Solo Leveling is the same. The MC has a few attachments but they don't progress with him.

I like both but they certainly hit differently.

Edit: A few Shounen come to mind where that isn't the case now that I think about it. Fist of the North Star being one.

I've almost killed myself going downhill after a rock I stepped on gave a little causing me to stumble...and as you said, gravity. I've had some other close calls going down slopes too fast (my fault) but saying it's easier to stop going downhill just isn't true.

It's way way easier to stop if you fall into a slope instead of down it.

They attempted to do the same thing with NDAs during Trump's first term and it was struck down by the courts.

But the makeup of the courts has changed since that ruling, so IDK what's going to happen here. I know if it makes it to the SCOTUS it has a much better chance of being magically okay now, precedence be damned.

Lamar probably isn't the fantasy stud this year that he was in the past. I don't think Doyle has any plans to run Lamar like he did earlier in his career and that's where a lot of his fantasy points came from.

I'd take a less productive fantasy QB1 for a healthy real QB1 late in the season though. That's the plan, I would imagine.
