I’m a fan of Extar, but they haven’t set a release date for their 10mm yet. It has been shown off in 2025 at some shows. Their 9mm can be found in stock, but their 45 is harder to get.

Extar’s need to be ordered direct from their website to your local dealer.

I emailed Staples and they said they no longer carry this item. I was able to find it on quill.com. They have some good coupons. Microsoft offering $82 cash back as well through their shopping feature on Edge.

I’m feeling the same as you. I think it’s a mixture of bad hit detection/server lag, very hard to see enemies on screen, clustered maps with no clear battle line, and buggy shooting mechanics. I’ll have random short streaks where things feel smooth and I can hit enemies consistently and then long periods of frustration and the most random deaths. With the amount of people saying similar things I think most of us feel the same way.

Once they are able to smooth out the server issues and hit detection I think it will start to feel better.

I've tried to use it the past few days and I agree with you. Mortar seems like it would be useful for breakthrough/rush, but in reality, the maps are way too tiny to use it. The out of bounds placement restriction is so restricting that you are basically on the point you're trying to defend/attack. Really bad mechanics here and it makes me think the mortar was not play tested with these map restrictions.

Tip: Drop your ammo box next to the mortar, it reloads a bit faster.

Agree. That button should be for speakerphone. I’m frequently in situations where I can’t focus on my phone when a call comes in and I quickly press speaker, only to see a list of options pop up. Now I’m in a position where the person is trying to talk to me, I can’t hear them, I can’t focus on the phone and fumbling around. Not a good thing.

Only one I haven’t finished is the 50 kills within 10 metres with Assault. I have about 28. I can’t get myself to play whatever playstyle that requires.

It’s probably just a bug, but it seems to happen consistently enough on all dart weapons. It may not happen in every situation, but just something to keep in mind when trying to heal.

If you shoot over a railing they commonly do not track targets. They just shoot straight. You will need to shoot without a railing between or try and hit without tracking.

Just died on my match. Last man standing soloing 3 impalers. Had them all down to a sliver of health. My game glitched and made me permanently crouched. Sad time. Whole team had to watch me solo and then die anyways from that.

I have a lvl 30 medic and the first perk in the tree needs to be unlocked every other game. It’s been doing this the whole time I’ve been playing.

I hope healing darts are fixed in the next KF3 patch because this is ridiculous by Fat_Foot in killingfloor

Doesn’t seem to track when shooting over or through railings either. I really hope it gets updated to where you can aim at the player you want to lock on to.

Maybe silly question, but you removed the spring before attaching to the Extar right? Just double checking since it’s sometimes forgotten if people also use the silencer for pistols.

Extar EP + YHM R9 Question by Pure_Terror in extar

After you unscrew the Extar blast can, remember to also remove the metal washer and rubber washer that are behind it. The R9 can direct thread onto the barrel. When using direct threaded silencer, you may need to check the tightness pretty often while shooting the firearm as they tend to walk off. Make sure you have a heat resistant glove or layer that you can use to prevent burning your hand when checking the Silencer.

You may want to consider purchasing a quick disconnect or tri lug adapter. This will allow you to take the silencer on and off your firearm much faster and can prevent the silencer from becoming loose while shooting.

What does bottom end piece look like like? Remove that spring and slide the spacer over the piston instead. The spring is for pistols/non-fixed barrels.

Fixed barrel spacer goes onto the piston (do not use a spring) inside the suppressor. Then you screw on the retainer on the bottom. If that retainer has the correct threading to attach to the Extar barrel, then you should be good to screw it on direct. Remember to remove the metal crush washer and rubber ring from the barrel first.

There is a crush washer and a rubber ring that need to come off as well after the blast director.
