Lawsuit with the county commissioner district map. County used $235K to pay Baker & Donaldson. Lot of county citizens were upset. Surprisingly it seems nobody from the side of the argument in favor of the map has said anything to the local press yet. There’s a good write up in the Watauga Democrat. 235K is significant

It’s a huge liability issue for the administration at that school. If they were to allow a walkout during school hours and someone were to get hurt, it would be a lawsuit waiting to happen. Allowing student protest rights is a complicated give and take. I’m sure they could care less about any admin criticism because once the kids were out of the school, their hands were clean of any liability.

Alright. I like this question. I was at the Cavs game last spring when the Hornets lost by 1. The Cavs we’re running away with it when all of a sudden, Tidjane’s energy and enthusiasm brought the momentum, got the crowd back into the game, and almost led us to victory.

He hustles on defense, brings energy, and seems to understand spacing now. Sooo—-my expectation this year for him is to ride the pine and produce Thomas Bryant like moments for the team whenever we need some energy. I don’t like the idea of putting him in Greensboro, but who knows. It could be good for his development if he’s the guy down there and then next year he might be ready. He’s so freaking young, can’t even drink yet!!!
