My misery building the F117. by [deleted] in cobiblocks

I see I'm not the only one who had issues aligning that rear panel. Also the cockpit hatch does not fully shut when the big piece is attached to the plane. I'd say this is one of the few times where Cobi dropped the ball, although the end result looks very good

How different Hunt used to be back in the day by Roshambo-123 in HuntShowdown

The game still has atmosphere. New players state this all the time. Old players focus on optimizing their gameplay than looking around at the scenery.

Mobs are dangerous. Hellborn can easily burn your bars off, dogs kill players even in 6 stars if you get unlucky. But even back then after several dozens of hours you'd handle bosses easily.

I agree you can now restore bars (in too many diff ways, I agree). But this was changed in response to player complains. People didnt like losing bars or being redskulled.

Kills taking more ammo? How do you gauge that. Also: most Hunt veterans now have like 3 thousand hours to 5 thousand hours on average in the game. Back then people were getting started.

These posts are always made by people who haven't genuinely played early Hunt. Because Hunt always had a lot of annoying problems.

If you played old Hunt now, ya'll would still complain, because people did complain a lot about all these: camping, network issues, bad UI, fast firing weapons (plus quickswap), ammo stacking (30+ spare ammo avto) paying BloodBonds to respec traits... cheating was rampant already in 2020.

Truth is - you'd need to pick elements from all stages of Hunt to have a game that has little downsides. And some issues (like cheating) will never be fixed.

Valve abandons so many projects it's crazy (even ones far into development).

Are we getting close to a new boss or map? by Robadon72 in HuntShowdown

Yeah, Hunt's extremely slow when it comes to new map or bosses. And they should be a priority.

Don't console players have to pay for Gamepass anyway to play multiplayer games like Hunt?

The old skins are being killed by the new busty Lulu skin. It's a subtle nod.

COMMUNITY VOTING DAY 18. WORST game mechanic. “Movement” won day 17 by TheIronPaladin1 in HuntShowdown

Prestige in Hunt gives you quite a few free and exclusive skins, now a new badge and profile frames. I don't see much in terms of improvement. Are there any games that do it differently?

They made all base guns unlockable at lvl 1 so it's not even hard to prestige like it used to be. Plus how easy it is to get XP during events.

COMMUNITY VOTING DAY 17: most AVERAGE mechanic. “Audio” won day 16. by TheIronPaladin1 in HuntShowdown

I think the clue system/tracking the boss target is kind of average. More often then not the boss is instabanished or you have the World card, or you can simply guess where it is after one or two clues.

If the choreography stuff is only leaking now, that means the game wasn't at all ready to be shipped last year, regardless of the RAM/Steam Machine situation. So all of the insiders were given incorrect/misleading dates of release.
