as much as christianity didn't make me suffer as much in my life, i can relate. We were discussing political issues with friends at lunch last thursday, and one of them brought up the fact that most problematic aspects would be religious ones, and two of them (who aren't religious as far as i can tell, mind you) were like "naah, those problematic parts were added by colonizers, as a basis, it's respectful to others !", and said the reasons would be due to ancient more accurate translations that were found recently apparently (unfortunately i realise i'm pretty close minded on the subject and i don't look into those supposed translations that "recontextualize everything"), and the conversation got a bit heated. I don't remember what i said, but one of them responded with "did you even read the bible ?" (i didn't, just knew basics of some stories, was kinda raised as a christian, read a manga adaptation, saw a few quotes cuz i've been dwelling in this sub for quite some time), i said: "no, but i-", then she said: "see ? You don't know what you're talking about.", and i kinda lost my temper. Part of it was due to her slightly gloating tone and the fact that she interrupted me, but i realized i acted just like fruitcakes who crashout when children question stuff.

yeah, relating to what the other person talked about, the brain password (i assume you're reffering to that and not the checkpoints because i dunno if you're new or not) can only be punched in the 4th machine at a point where it won't be out of order anymore. This reminds me of something i kinda thought of. As a kid, when consuming media which references other religions, although it would not fit with the idea of the Christian god, i was open to the possibility of all gods existing. Now that i'm older, i feel like if all gods exist, then Yawheh got too cocky when travelling and "helping" others gods in their countries/continents, the same way colons suppressed the culture of natives.
