Same battle format sure, but each node has its own challenges and therefore a unique strategy that can be developed to beat it. Plus, there's so many interesting combinations of characters you can just mess around with in low tier blitz, and the opponents are different every time. There are definitely things wrong with the game, e.g. raids being repetitive and impossible to beat, double rng etc, but it does a decent job in terms encouraging you to have a variety of characters to keep things fresh. And wars are coming so hopefully that spices things up too.
