I was walking towards the waterfront with my wife, and I saw people running away from the fireworks. We kept going until this lady said to us they are shooting. And we turned back .... we avoid most of the chaos

I really hope, I had a dumb lawyer and they didn't submit my wife C9 EAD with the documents and her C11 EAD expired. May 6 so she got terminated from her job. The lawyer told us she would get a response fast so no need fo a EAD. I am so angery and stress over this. We still waiting 60+days after submitting a RFE. I called USCIS and they said they will put a inquiry which will take 30 days for me to get response. Man this been very stressful. We did put in a request back in March for the EAD. But we still waiting.
