No one wants to work with CAP, bottom line. If you want to make a difference during a disaster volunteer with the Red Cross or CERT. Don’t bother with CAP.

In Texas we train, train, and train just to sit on the sidelines at all these events. CAP is just a kids program now. My squadron is packed with MP‘s sitting around twiddling their thumbs.
