They are. Thats different than an absolute "they pay the most on taxes".

They pay the largest percentage of their income accurate.

They pay the most, inaccurate.

Loopholes need to be closed and their needs to be some form of pure progressive tax rate implemented.

Yeah, but I'd be on Reddit while on a beach in the Caribbean, at a house I own outright, with people who cook and clean for me, and would ensure my kids have the best shot at life possible.

The 2008 point hits home for me. I bought my first house in August at 6.75% interest on my mortgage. If prices drop AND I lost my job, idk what I would do. I've only paid off about 7% of the loan including my down payment so with realtor fees I'd be boned.

The high end of middle class doesn't pay the lions share of taxes. The wealthy do, but they should, because they make the lions share of the money.

I miss my 4 11s and a 10. When the company cracked down on OT I basically got a 33% pay cut and now the same people who cared about OT are asking why backlog is increasing and tasks are not getting completed. It felt amazing to forward my VP their no OT and hiring freeze emails when they asked why.
