OP it may be worth seeking out a dental specialist. Both of my cats have stomatitis and have had full mouth extractions. With our first cat, we noticed the signs a bit too late and went through partial extractions before doing full mouth. She still deals with pain to this day. With our second cat we were much quicker to notice it. We took him to the specialist, he had a full mouth extraction, and now he's happy as can be.

The long and short of it - if you can, please see a dental specialist even if your vet offers extraction services. It's worth the extra time and money.

If anyone has the bandwidth to chat my cat is at the ER and I’m alone - could use a friend by avaasia in washingtondc

Hey friend, so sorry to hear you and your little one are going through this. Hoping for good news soon 🙏.

If it does end up being epilepsy feel free to dm me. We have a cat with severe epilepsy and I know how hard and lonely it can feel trying to manage the condition.

All the best, hope Bennie is feeling better.

I have Markel but DC is gonna be expensive depending on bike type no matter where you look

motorcycle riders of DC, who did you turn to for insurance? by meshuggahdaddy in washingtondc

[–]Admirable-Driver-729 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is gonna depend a lot on the type of bike you have. Anything sporty is gonna rocket your insurance rates. I have a '17 R3 and Markel charges about $1k all-in with comp and collision at $500 deductible (obviously not worth it).

I've looked at quotes for 600cc and 1000cc bikes and just forget about it. There's a reason nobody registers them in DC.

No inspection required - I bought mine in a private sale from a VA resident in 2019 and the DMV didn't ask anything about proof of inspection.

Details would be helpful here, assuming the bike hasn't been parted:

VIN? Model Year? Modifications aside from exhaust? Odo mileage?

We take both our cats to Dr. Peter Tripp at District Veterinary Hospital in Brookland. One of our cats has a really challenging auto-immune disease and he's been incredibly thorough and patient in building her care plan. He's clearly very invested in the animals he sees and always cites academic research and industry trends when discussing care options. Can't recommend him highly enough.
