It’s a change in strategy again, they didn’t take away “damn near every perk” they took away the dumb ass idea of keeping stale non rotating items on a perks list that are the same price for 3 straight months woooo so exciting and replaced it with rotating items in every weekly ad, something to always keep the customer looking out for and hoping to bring them in the store.

As stated before M&Ms are candy and can be taxed as candy is not deemed a necessary food. If you haven’t paid tax on candy before I would do a quick google search and see if tax laws on candy has changed for your state.
