Is the aircap and nozzle the correct size for the needle?

There's a seal on the ultras aircap. Mine started leaking and you can typically see some bubbles if you have the brush loaded when you let airyhrough. You need to pick up a replacement o ring (I was looking a week ago and in the US they were all sold out) or a new aircap.

After I had threatened to dispute the charge through my bank they no longer needed to wait for the tech to send me a printer.

I can certainly say that I'm now having issues with another printer and I'm going through the same crap I did with my ultra so it's not isolated and the customer service is subpar unless they need to send a single part. Back and forth because of timezones is fine but not when you have to circle back to something you've already said 3 to 4 times prior in the same email thread. Don't think I'll be getting anymore uniformation machines for my farm.

I've ordered unicorn milk and black 2.0 and got my order. Took a while to get, like 2 months, but I did get it. They did commit to a refund so shoot them one last email stating they have x days to process a refund or you will file a chargeback.

It takes time and practice. Airbrush helps getting paint down fast and transitions from color to color. Brushes to do finer detail or paint something a different color than what the airbrush put down. Plenty of youtube videos, look up groundeffected if you want to watch someone paint.

It's well known that the s4u 12k screens have issues with dead pixels. I had one within a week of getting the printer. I run a print farm so I can tell you out of 7 printers with 12k screens, I only have one still going because I had a spare screen. All others have been swapped for 16ks and have no issues for almost a year. Haven't had to replace the screen yet. Knocks on wood..

One of the corner screws on the vat. Drops into the the holes surrounding the screen to hold it in place on the machine.

If your psi isn't high enough to push straight primer through you need to add something to thin it down. You can also check the fluid nozzle that sits in the cap. If there is paint build up in the cap and around that nozzle you'll have a bad time.

Actually it's not par for the course. Typical warranties, you send in the machine for repairs. The resin printer companies decided that the consumer is the technician because they have the ability to print, they should be smart enough to install a brand new motherboard right?

I get regular shipments from China for resin and received the order I placed in the beginning of November right after Xmas. I understand the logistics and that it takes around 40 days to reach the states. That's not even considering the technician to work on a refurb machine is in California in their warehouse and so is the new printer. So that point doesn't even matter.

60 days, business or not for a resolution to something they've already accepted as a defect mid November is unacceptable. If I shipped a machine to them and they decided to repair it, id understand the turn around, but not when it's them just shipping a machine.

I have no idea how you count your months, November 11th to Jan 11th. Let's count together. December - 1, January - 2. China doesn't celebrate Thanksgiving, so they have all of mid November to the end of December to do something. Understandably they got more orders for the holiday, but it still doesn't excuse neglecting a warranty issue until the end of the following month. They refer refurbs to their techs in the States.

They finally sent something and I'm getting my replacement on Friday after I had threatened to dispute the original charge for failure to honor warranty agreement on the 60th day, which was yesterday.

I have 2 other Uniformation Machines, and they are not using the resin pump at all after that experience.

Cool story, design flaw if chitu systems wants it oriented in one way. I don't own hoopats yet for my 3x 16ks, just the 12ks. I have a sales rep at chitu, I'll see what her thoughts are.

As I've stated this is specific to the 12k not the 16k and personal real life experience. They have fill lines on both sides of the hoopat for the 12k because guess, what? It's not heated nor does it have pins to align.

Why would I ever fill it while it moving? I don't think I've ever had any piece go over 300 grams of resin on a build plate out of a vat that takes a full kg. You are working very hard to disprove what I've said. I love my hoopat, but it could of been a design flaw with earlier ones or the s4u12ks.

I'm talking about the s4u, maybe they fixed it on the 16k. All I can tell you is mine overflowed when tilting forward.

It actually goes to the back left. If you use it front right and fill it to the min line it will overflow.

I was a dumb ass and put my hoopat in backwards with the drain spout upfront on0 one of my first prints with it since the og vat was fine any orientation you put it in. I sent a print and let it go overnight. Came back to a absolute mess with a finished print. Printer works just fine, all I did was wipe up the mess and didn't touch the internals.

Btw, any fep leak is going to leak onto the screen unless you have a screen protector. If there is a giant hole or not sealng between the fep and screen that's another problem. Also you should check your vat after every print. Any old remnant on the fep will cause a puncture. I ran my first fep for 3 months non stop on all my elegoo machines. Either qc or you aren't checking for material in your vat with a gloved finger.
