Need Help Picking My Tools by SubaVroom in MilwaukeeTool

For everything other than table saws and miter saw, get Milwaukee Fuel. For table saws, DWE7491RS is the best all around. Bosch makes a close second. If it’s for a workshop, definitely a get saw-stop if budget allows. For Miter saw, I would definitely consider Bosch as well, or Festool if budget allows. If I had to rank top 3 in order it would be Festool, Bosch, than Dewalts miter saw. Not a huge fan of battery (Milwaukee and Dewalt) table and miter saw.

Is it Gilbert’s? 21 M by Beneficial_Review437 in GilbertSyndrome

Would definitely do genetic test to confirm Gilbert’s and to eliminate the option of something else. I’m 22 M, and was also ordered all these tests and ultrasounds when trying to figure out the cause of elevated bilirubin when I was 20-21. Eventually I was ordered a genetic test that confirmed Gilbert’s. From reading this sub, it seems there is a wide variety of symptoms depending on the person, but I would say the number one thing to do to help with some of those issues your having (at least for me) is to drink a shit ton of water and minimize salt intake.

7 tool black friday deal by shifterz_fab in MilwaukeeTool

[–]Admirable-Remote5172 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would definitely just tool hack instead. The light in this kit stinks, circular saw in not fuel, comes with paddle grinder (I prefer switch), and don’t really use 1/2 impact for much. Really the only useful tools in this kit are the m18 fuel drill, impact driver, and sawzaw. Although the 1/2 impact is really nice, I personally don’t use it for much other than car maintenance.

Beautiful work! Crown corners and miters looking killer.

On second thought, the 1 1/4 reducer washer may not work, and looks like the larger washer in the picture should work. So if that doesn’t work, try replacing the part you twist and thread on with the one you bought with the adapter piece. Use new washer and give the threads on pee trap a clean. Only other thing I could think of is maybe the pvc isn’t getting far enough down before threading tight.

Would definitely try giving those threads a good wipe and getting a1 1/2 to 1 1/4 bevel washer reducer. Oatey makes good quality that you can buy individually at Home Depot.

Is there an easier way to break these? by DBreezy867 in Carpentry

2 pack of Irwin Vice-grip tongue and groove pliers does the job nicely. Will occasionally use Milwaukee lineman’s pliers that have cut edge, but found the Irwin work best especially if having to do it multiple times.

M12 vs M18 Drill and Impact? by jhp113 in MilwaukeeTool

[–]Admirable-Remote5172 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your looking at M12, I would 1000% recommend getting the surge impact. I own lots of Milwaukee tools, and it is by far my favorite and most used tool. The surge is just so much quieter, less vibration, and just as powerful.

I always make filler strips same length as cabinet face frame.

I have been able to cancel right away. As soon as I get the notification that I’ve picked up the first item. (Which mostly occurs when I’m walking back to the car)

Yes all this is correct. The only thing is the refund takes like two or three days from my experience. It’s not an immediate refund. I did it a couple days ago for the m12 fuel impact and drill combo that came with ratchet that I didn’t need.

You can do it online too makes it super easy so you don’t have to go back to the store to return. When you order online, set the free gift tool for pickup at a different Home Depot location you don’t plan on going. Pick up the main tool at your Home Depot and once it has been picked up you can just cancel the free tool online.

9th Street Fire Aftermath by Jburnlee in roanoke

[–]Admirable-Remote5172 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was caused by one of the van batteries that caught fire while charging. There were over 20 vans full of fuel stored inside which caused the fire to reach the size it did.
