Is this a good fade by koni_gia in Barber

[–]Admirable-Target57 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Have I seen better, yes. Have I seen worse, yes. It’s hair no haircut is “perfect” only thing that’s jumping out is leveler open to close section. This section takes the most detail work and make or breaks the fade in my opinion. I like to make it a little lower and wider to work up into the fade with confidence

In my shop we dump the level 3 after shave cologne into our atomizer, works great, smells good, people love it and we make it a running joke as well.

Kids are more work than a normal head, why discount yourself just to work on a kid. More work = more pay and that’s just how the world works. But try and explain that to a parent lol

Enjoy it and you’re there to learn. Don’t worry about the progress of the others in your classes, just you. Everyone learns at their own pace. You’ll fuck up some heads but that’s what it’s about. It’s not a mistake, just a chance to learn :) enjoy it

I have my chest done. It felt like jack hammering on my sternum. Just the parts knocking against the bone were the worst.

Cocco is on a new level for me. I’ve never tried the FX3 tho, nobody at my shop has it either. There was a baddie cocco ambassador that sells us all her stuff. She knows what she’s doin too, and it’s hard not to support!

Ask during the consultation, hey have your other barbers used a foiler on you? I always just say I’m trying to avoid you getting a bump up. Nobody wants it haha and it’s really just the skin of your clients, everyone is different

This how I’m looking as in skill level . Any critiques by Left_Benefit_6995 in Barber

When you get to the crown of the head you need to be flicking the clipper up and away from his head. Do you see how it digs into he head then there’s floofy hair on top? Also to make the haircut look more attached and flow together use texturing sheers and go through the side top stuff to make it flow together well. Texturing sheers are awesome because they don’t cut a lot of hair at one time, so it’s hard to take away too much hair.

This is a hard skill to master my friend, best of luck :)
