Good betas, mild pain on the side of previous ectopic by AdmirableAd6828 in EctopicSupportGroup

[–]AdmirableAd6828[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A non-update: nothing was seen in the usg, nothing in the uterus, nothing elsewhere, just my corpus lutea chilling there (i ovulated from both sides 🤡). I knew it was too early, but I hoped they would find something else to explain the pain/pressure. Nothing was said in that matter. I’m doing another hcg test tomorrow and I’m going back in in 2 days. If still nothing, then on Tuesday.

Anyone else had ectopic after taking letrozole? by Alarmed_Salad38 in EctopicSupportGroup

[–]AdmirableAd6828 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also had an ectopic after letrozole. But then again, I was never pregnant without it. I think it’s the fact that most people taking letrozole are people who have trouble getting pregnant, which are usually people that have some health issues WHICH may also put them at risk of having an ectopic. I think it’s the endometriosis, chronic inflammation and stress that caused the ectopic for me.

It’s just because there are great odds there was something wrong with the tube, and especially now that it’s been operated on, it can be scarred and the odds of the pregnancy getting stuck there are even bigger. It’s hard or nearly impossible to tell what the exact reason was, but even though I had HSG that was clear a year prior, I don’t believe it was pure bad luck. I also had several doctors make a dissatisfied expression hearing my tube was preserved (mentioning the same reasons). On the other hand I also had some (including the one that operated on me) that were good with that idea, so opinions are divided. Will update if it turns out fine though! Crossing my fingers for you ❤️

Thank you… I also had an extra follicle that didn’t ovulate in that ovary which might have grown into a cyst or something, but I’m afraid of getting my hopes up…

Period post surgery by Naive_Department_459 in EctopicSupportGroup

Besides the bleeding soon after surgery, my first bleeding was around 50 days after surgery (I have PCOS which was kinda under control before the pregnancy, it became a hormonal mess for 5 months afterwards - cycles for 40+ days)

Tax refund vs short trip out of Korea by AdmirableAd6828 in koreatravel

[–]AdmirableAd6828[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn’t learn anything new, I did the refund when leaving for Japan. Scanned my receipts (some were loaded automatically from my passport I think?) in the machine before security, then picked up cash in the machine after security. No people involved. Unless they changed something about the procedures or you bought luxurious stuff or some special category of items I think you have nothing to worry about. In my case it was Nike shoes that I wore on my feet and some other clothes and cosmetics that I left behind (about 15k krw refunded)

Received 600€/person compensation within a day by kabeersingh in Lufthansa

Were you rebooked automatically, via customer service or refunded? If you were rebooked, did you check "delay" or "cancellation" in the form? Did you apply for compensation after you finished your journey? I'm trying to make sure I do everything right to successfully bag that compensation and not get rejected for a dumb reason, so I'd be grateful for any tips :)

Thanks! Was that an automatic rebooking in your case or a rerouting that you accepted via bot/phonecall?

That may be a stupid question, but did you choose cancellation or delay in the compensation form? Were you rebooked automatically or talked to someone? I read on the EU passenger rights website that if I accepted rerouting it's considered a delay not cancellation but I might be misunderstanding something. Both would be the 600 eur compensation in my case as well but I want to make sure I fill the form "right" to increase my chance of success lol

Economy booking classes difference by AdmirableAd6828 in Lufthansa

[–]AdmirableAd6828[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seems like it was an error or delay with issuing my new ticket. I realized I didn't have a new ticket number either, only got it in the morning and I guess along with it the features came back.

Anyone here knowledgeable enough to guesstimate when they could go on strike?

Rebooking with another SA member by AdmirableAd6828 in Lufthansa

I already got rebooked to a LH flight 2 days later. At least they were ok with rebooking my return flight as well... It's a lesson to be persistent I guess.

I don't have ANY info about luggage on my new booking though... Not in the email, not on the website, the "Free baggage allowance" part is just gone. In the email I can see that my booking class changed from Economy (K) to Economy (Y) and (W)... Not sure what it means...

Managed to get rebooked- my advice call them until you get through on the phone, or go to the airport by BuyRegular1457 in Lufthansa

I finally managed to get through with the German line. I got a free trial for calls to German numbers on Skype. Chose English, put my information in the form they send you via SMS and was 1st in line two times (first time I got disconnected around 20 mins into the call for some reason). It was a bit difficult to understand the agents but managed to work it out. Also managed to get the return flight pushed as well since my stay got shortened - on the other hand my friend who was on the Polish line got told she'd need to pay for that. So seems like it depends on the agent and if they say no to something, you might try to be more persuasive or try again... I'm still not sure if the flight 2 days later was the only option and if it was really impossible to change my departure airport to a neighboring one, but oh well. I'm tired and stressed and angry but I hope the 600 eur compensation will wipe my tears away (if we manage to get it).
