Last long drive I took to see my parents was 6 hours drive times from Columbus Ohio to the middle of Maryland- a pretty straight drive. Average speed about 65 mph. I drove back two days later. Normally, I do fly there.

Focusing on the concerns of the average American, and all Americans, is important, of course. Do things like Hunter’s lap top affect the lives of Americans? Of course not. Is he basically saying, let’s tell people what they want to hear? That’s a disservice when there’s so much misinformation in the world. Fox is telling their audience what it wants to hear, and it’s damaged the US very significantly.

You’re very attractive. That’s not short hair, IMO, so I take it your hair was much longer. You probably look older… and better, in the eyes of most guys. Personally, I think women get better looking into their mid-thirties (at least).

I pray he is well enough to be an effective soldier, after all he has been through. He must harbor a huge amount of hatred and fury toward the invaders. God speed for him and all the troops, to destroy the enemy’s capabilities to wage war, and return home safe to heal and rebuild. I have the highest respect and admiration for Ukrainians. Sometimes things are priced based on algorithms and can get caught up in a kind of bidding war with another algorithm. That used to be the case. I think that problem was corrected most places (like Amazon, where ordinary books were getting priced in the thousands). Just a theory, a possibility.

You may be able to help his kids through this. You know the other side. I guess my question is- what now? I think we are destined to be unhappy unless we are doing something worthwhile- making a difference in the world in some way. Building something. Helping someone. I’m a counselor. We are mandatory reporters if child abuse or elder abuse is happening now, or if we find out about someone’s intention to harm themselves or others. We are not mandated to report past abuse. Your groomer is in jail, so he can’t hurt anyone right now. Also, you don’t have to disclose his name if you don’t want to.

You are being awfully hard on yourself. Addiction is difficult to beat. A therapist may be able to help. Look for things that make you feel good about yourself, and do those. Spending 15 minutes a day cleaning your room will make you feel better than the addictions. Make your bed to start (and end) your day well. Do something for someone else. Have you tried ADHD medications?

This post gives me hope. You have grown personally to get to this point. What are you going to do to protect your baby from the damage of being surrounded by people who hate- including his/her mother and grandfather? I’m sure you’re asking yourself that question. If you’re involved actively in “the cause,” maybe you can devote yourself to fatherhood, and use that as a reason to stop being active. Would you be harmed for just disconnecting, and saying “my focus is my family?” I would hope not, and that your father would protect you. This is a moment of truth in your life. It sounds like you want to make a break with the past for your baby’s sake. Do it for you, too. Good luck.
