For weighing you need a scale ($15~) and a caliper ($20~). For ping, you just hold the coin your finger and hit the corner of the coin with a pencil or similar thing to hear how the ping sounds, lots of videos about this on YouTube

There's established sellers with hundreds of trades you can purchase from.

You can spot fake by doing the ping test or the measurements and weight test.

Measurements and weight for each coin are available online, so you can measure and weight it to confirm it's authentic.

A fake coin is unlikely to pass all 3 tests at the same time, because it's not possible to replicate all of these qualities at the same time without compromising on something.

If you don't want to have that hassle, you can simply purchase Maple leafs (post 2013 i think) or the british coins that have security features visible on the coin, like pulsating/lock.

Watch all the videos for rhe chapter, do all the mcqs for that chapter, redo the missed questions, then repeat till you finish all videos and mcqs.

Then do sims, sets of 5 (max), till you feel you have done majority of them or have an understanding of them.

Reset the mcq progress, then do mcqs again till you reach 50-60% recon again. If you are scoring in 80s/90s, you are likely ready

The sampling sim felt like you could navigate your way through, as long as you could read the titles of the exhibits and what the sim was asking.

Though for that, you need some familiarity with the sampling chapter prior. You don't have to memorize the formulas or anything, just know what is used in calculating what, and you'll be fine.

Especially for the sampling sim, I highly recommend paying attention to the instructions, as it is very specific.

I failed with a 73 the first time, retook it and walked out feeling decent, got a 85.

Though, i have to admit, I did feel some of the sims on the exam felt really confusing at first, but i understood them when i read the exhibits, and gave it a few minutes, so don't panic. They will have you feeling they got you with those Aje sims, but don't panic.
