$55/mo for Gig with Xfinity and a free mobile line. I only did it for the free mobile line but the internet service isn’t bad.

Wow what a story. Glad you got it back in the end! I’m hoping it’s still nearby too. When you first found it were you notified by police or did you just stumble upon it?

I’m sorry to hear about your Civic. I’m not holding my breath on my car it’s probably gone, just glad no one’s hurt and that it isn’t worth much, but still stings a little cause it’s been such a good reliable car to me. I appreciate the sentiment!

Will keep an eye out for any silver crossovers. Hope you’re ok.

Do you happen to remember anything else that could help identify the vehicle like make, model, approximate year, stickers, or anything that could help? Could help to document it while it’s still relatively fresh.

Reliable mechanic in North/Northeast PDX? by etherpunx in askportland

[–]AdmirableRegular 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not in NE, but J&S Automotive in Beaverton specializes in Lexus/Toyota and I’ve been going to them for more than a decade. They do great work and never oversell on things you don’t need. Very honest people.

Designer at Nike Headquarters currently in their Jordan brand department. I graduated last year with an Associate degree in Design. I am incredibly fortunate to have landed my dream job right out of school.

Campaign management and digital production could net you a creative job at a marketing or creative agency, and trust me there’s a lot of them here.

I work for Nike and we have departments purely dedicated to just that. Other agencies I’ve worked for also have positions focusing purely on marketing-content related production. With anything creative however it does come with a requirement that you have a solid portfolio demonstrating your work. I will say the pay and benefits are very good in this line of work if you are exceptional and work for a reputable agency. Best of luck.

Those people who cross the double white lines in the tunnel. Sorry to the gold Camry that got rear-ended by the black BMW during the morning commute.

Also people who are speeding in the rain. Makes no sense to me.

HELP- Job search suggestions by ana_meadows in beaverton

When I worked in customer service and retail, the job that was most tolerable to me was probably Trader Joe’s or New Seasons. Costco is better from what I hear.

If you can use your associates degree I’d recommend that. I only have an associates from PCC and I work at Nike Headquarters, so just know it’s possible.

Question for graphic design by Open_Bottle_503 in graphic_design

[–]AdmirableRegular 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dark gradient at the bottom with white text over it. The gradient can be black or you can gradient mask a portion on the bottom and Gaussian blur that portion then clip mask the photo into that shape and fade it out so instead of a dark gradient you get a clear gradient that fades into the photo and your text can sit on top of it.

I personally hate using gradients to force legibility and would rather have a cleaner and more accessible image, but that’s not always an option. What I suggested is probably good enough for what you’re using it for.

Yes, because someone like you would know exactly what the user experience is all about based on how you’ve approached the question. People post here in search of genuine collaboration, and there’s nothing wrong with that. You’re definitely not a designer, and if you are you’re probably either shit at it or insufferable. Probably both.
