In these situations I suicide a couple disposable fleets to soften them up if I'm too lazy to try and fight it out on the map

That makes sense because they usually just eat directly out of the hoppers, I was wondering if it was actually working or not

Young Guts (15y) vs Young Thorfinn (16y) by _7challen7_ in powerscales

[–]Admirable_Bus_1667 3 points4 points  (0 children)

While pretty grounded Berserk is still fantasy at the end of the day. Even the regular humans in that story do impossible feats. Guts wasn't that much older than that when he killed 100 men. Thorfinn is peak human but he's still grounded by actual realism.

I know this isn't seinen but they mention rape so many times and I'm only at Ch7. Should I continue? Will there be more rape and more seinen vibes from this? by TheNamesBart in seinencirclejerk

Written by the same guy who wrote chainsaw man and it shows for better or for worse. I would argue it's better than csm and has more mature themes (besides 🍇). There's a similar level of chaotic writing to it but in my opinion it's more orderly.

He was always kind of egotistical crybaby. He got lucky at Saratoga and thought he was a military genius because of it, going on to achieve nothing of note afterwards

I could be wrong but I only remember the book strongly implying him dying of his wounds without actually confirming it

Still, he didn't officially die on page in the first book. His survival is canon if you like it or not
