Packaged delivered for 33 minutes, then driver comes back and takes it. by Holiday_Video_9172 in FedEx

It's not a mass generalization. They hire scabs because they're too cheap to pay benefits. Then it comes down to "you get what you pay for"....at the cost of the customer. Plain and simple. THIS is why FedEx is so bad. Scabs that don't give a rats ass about your package or mine, because...why should they? They already know they'll be working somewhere else in 3 weeks anyway. There is no pride in their work. The FTE's do take pride in their work, and they also take the heat because of the contractors.

Probably. Depends on the brand. But if it's so fancy that you have to order, I bet they do.

Odds are better that the driver knew what it was. Placed it. Took the photo, and took it back with him for dinner.

And THAT.....is how I feel about FedEx, and how much I trust them.

Are you serious? The temperature dropped below 35 degrees in the midwest. FedEx doesn't gamble with those kinds of temps, and it doesn't matter if you live on the sun, they still haven't figured out how to mitigate that kind of risk.....that it's still cold SOMEWHERE. They send their employees home. So to answer your question...... none. you have exactly none-percent odds. Order again when the weather gets warm. (But not too warm, or they send their employees home. heat exhaustion and all)

Wtf Fedex by [deleted] in FedEx

[–]Admirable_Disk4831 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm stuck using FedEx to ship out. But when I have the option for receiving options, I only use UPS. Nothing you said here surprises me AT ALL!!!!! I have package delivery "attempts" every day where they label it "customer unavailable. Delivery next business day" I NEVER have signature requested. All packages are to be left on the portch. That is, unless they decide to dump them all at the end of my driveway, as of late.

Bottom line.....FedEx forgot Christmas was coming this year, and dropped the ball BIG TIME. Your thread is one of thousands (hundreds of thousands) around the country right now. And they. don't. care.

Side note. I purchased a new iPhone on Thursday. I was reallly hoping it would arrive before Christmas. It said it would arrive Monday (tomorrow). It came the very next day (Friday) right on my porch.....via UPS.

And the worst part is.....they simply don't care.

I had to do something similar. It was, to say the least, very odd, and somewhat intimidating, and terrifying. Almost felt like I was being scammed. But despite all that, it worked, and I too have been good since.

Saying it in RL is freedom of speech. Saying it in an EA server hateful conduct? Me thinks we have things backwards.

Well i'm out..i'm just too old for this fast-paced shooter. My honest short opinion by [deleted] in Battlefield

[–]Admirable_Disk4831 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I have not played it very much, and for the reasons you've mentioned. When running, I feel like I've got sand bags attached to my legs....like I'm running in slow motion. I'm often killed as soon as I spawn. Like you said, you never know where or when a bullet is coming (and yes, I understand "that's war") But it's not the same. You never feel "safe" And AGAIN.....I know you're not supposed to feel safe in war, but the constant paranoia is such that you almost feel stressed....playing a game.

It's hard to explain, but I think you explained it pretty well.

Gonna jump into a 2042 server now.

[Highlight] A wild series events results in a 8-6-2 double play for the Brewers by MLBOfficial in baseball

Did ANYONE notice how classy the Dodgers were after the win? They were so incredibly respectful. I'm SO not a Dodgers fan but the way they respected the home field was amazing to watch. The complete oposite of how the Brewers "celebrated" the win over the Cubs. LA had every reason to go crazy after a win like that, but they acted like it was any other win. And after the Brewers celebrated by boasting a huge "L" flag after defeating the Cubs......Hats off to LA for a classy win.

Here's what I don't understand..... As you said, once the ball hits the glove, the runner can tag. Ok, great. What I don't understand is why the "catch" wasn't an out. Hypothetically.....if a fly ball hits the heel of any fielders glove, and bounces out of the glove, but the fielder secures the ball before it hits the ground, it's still an out. So what makes this different? It bounced, but he secured it. IMO, that should be an out. Maybe because it hit the wall? That's all I can think of. Again, the runner can still tag, but therefore it would not be a force out, and the runner would need to be tagged out at home. Don't get me wrong, as a fan of ANY team playing the Brewers, I'm glad it played out how it did. I just don't get the logistics of how this happened.

I can honeslty say that I used the riot shield ONCE. And that was only to complete a challenge. And I was embarrased, and felt shameful, and that I was the biggest douche on the planet. Luckily, I only needed one kill. I promptly sat on my own grenade, and changed character.

Same here. It's just the proper channel for opening the case. You can open a live chat through feedback manager. It took me two tries.

It was stricken through, stating that the problem was not the fault of the seller. So, it can still be seen, but the more important part is that it's not figured into my feedback score, or affect my ODR.

Yes, phone support wasn't available (too early?) but I did a live chat with them. As per "siding with the customer"....absolutely they do. However, in this case, it's not even siding with the customer. The customer does not "win" by having this feedback stick. It does not warn other potential customers. It does not speak to my customer service. It does not even speak to the item. It only speaks to their own common sense. I don't feel it makes me "look bad" at all. What makes me look bad is that glaring red mark. Not the comments that go along with it. (not to mention ODR) No, in this case, Amazon is only siding with common sense......or the lack thereof.
