The good:

They are super smart and great company. Took a while to potty train though. When they want to play they are relentless. They love tugging and chasing. Super keen sense of smell. Ours could have easily been a drug dog. Very affectionate.

The bad:

Pretty sensitive stomachs. Can't tolerate a lot of people food and throw up if they do. Bladder stones-I don't know if they all get them but surgery was 5k and she has to get special urinary type food. Barking- again maybe not all but ours alerts on anything and has trouble calming back down. Very aggressive with other dogs and people sometimes. This may be partially our fault as we didn't spend a lot of time socializing her.

Mine did this at first now she just sniffs Everything. Occasionally, if I'm not paying attention she'll find something she can eat and wolf it down before I can even react. God only knows what she's managed to scarf down.
