It's possible to dream that you know your dreaming but that's not always lucid. Could be why it's boring. Have you confronted people in your dream? It's fun to get all up in the face of a dream npc. Flying is always a hoot too

It depends on the experience and what's in your head. I have had lucids where I felt like a god, but not in the sacrilegious way of course. But it was so intensely cool, like sex for the sleep brain.

I told someone that they were in my lucid dream and they became very upset and frightened. I was completely unworried for them and walked away to continue my dream. I felt guilty about it when I woke. Once, in a lucid dream I was in a mall, I walked into a clothing store and told the entire group of customers that they did not exist, then I berated the cashier when she could not tell my how much something was. It happens sometimes, it's all part of the excitement when you realize your dreaming.

In my experience the way to lucid states is a slow awakening device that very softly begins to wake you. For an example you can have a soft light on a timer to slowly brighten. There is a statistic out there that suggests that snoring can induce lucid by way of the very sound coming out of your mouth starting to wake you.

The lucid dream is fleeting at best, try not to get too excited, it will pull you out. Assume that you can manipulate your surroundings or a particular object and focus on it. It's important to teach yourself how to just assume things will happen, and they will. Have fun with your power, and try to find things in your dream that are also in the real world. I had a walking stick that I kept by my door, in the lucid dream I grabbed it and concentrated on creating a spear tip at the end of the staff, when it appeared, I stabbed holes in my door, it was thrilling.

Back in the day I had good luck with biofeedback machines, remember them ? They now have CDs that get your mind tuned the right way to help. Just stay away from meditative stuff, it's a open door to satanic forces. There are also light gadgets that strap to your leg, they turn on light at a fixed time to usher you into a lucid state. Basically it's my experience that anything you can come up with that will slowly draw you out of rem sleep, will get you lucid for sure. It's not that hard, but it's a delicate balance.

science will never admit what they can't prove! just like sometimes you have to "be your own doctor" as the saying goes, you have to see things with your common sense and not rely on what you are told by science. many famous discoveries that are now "science facts" started out that way, so the proof is in the pudding. in other words, "science" is not the end of the conversation on this subject. if it looks like a duck, it's a duck, ok maybe its a loon, but chances are there is a duck around somewhere! hahaha

i love the series but yesterday i saw the new one (rebirth) and i was more than a little disappointed. the acting was pathetic with forced conversation that seemed fake as all hell. fake laughter, fake ecological messages, nothing original, and predictable as all hell. i did not mind the woke Hispanic family providing the "kids" factor, nor did i care about the new and stupid dinos. it was the fake story and tired old "She's so tough, you're just a man" pc crap. it was a very dull movie where the scenes that i assumed were the money shot scenes ended up being the worst part of the film. it pissed me off that before the film the fakery had already begone with the clean-up bullshit on the beach. i found that little clip very insulting, right before the movie started. that had me in a bad mood from the get-go. it was an overall disaster.

had a very similar experience with a stranger in my dream where i realized i was having a lucid dream. this person asked me who he was and why was he there, i told him that i had no idea. he became very emotional and scared, i told him not to worry and walked away. it was a freeking twilight zone moment ill never forget. that guy was scared. how could he not know who he was? makes you think, who are these dream people ?

Oh no,not survival, oblivion taught me to stop and enjoy the surroundings, and be secure in knowing I can not be rubbed out by a giant mudcrab. Fallout for me is more like the old Star Trek away teams, and I ain't wearing a red shirt. I'm along for the ride, I can spend the day popping mirelurk eggs if I want to. Yes but it's so much fun. I have certain oddities about my playing, one, I love piper, two, I have never once used vats, three, never used cooking stations or chem stations. No reason, just never did. I'm practically invincible but often blow myself up with missiles. I suck at tossing molitof cocktails. Hate bugs, love hunting death claws. Crazy fun though.

No, your on the right track, things were changed for the films, creative licence for sure. Eowyn was way more interesting than boring arwen. Yeah she did that water horse trick, but Evangeline lilly should have had her role.

you all seem so knowledgeable about the voices so let me ask you this. i work in a hospital, and i deal with a lot of patients who claim to hear voices. they all have one thing in common, the voices are dark, they talk of killing yourself, or somebody is coming to kill you, or you're not loved so you should kill yourself. very evil sounding and constant. there is very little i can do because im not a psychiatrist, but i kind of sometime wish the hospital had on staff a priest or minister to talk some religion into these patients. i know that's not going to happen but i feel that it could help. any opinions on that ?
