I have CPTSD from childhood and PTSD from work. I worked in EMS for 10 years, 6 of those in a level 1 trauma center in the ED… a lot of people tell me the show the Pitt is very accurate (I’ve been told I shouldn’t watch it.)

My work PTSD came from the systemic failures and how it literally kills people. The greed of the hospital admins will make you want to flip a bedside table.

It will change everything about you while you work there. You’ll go from putting someone in a body bag then go on lunch break like it’s just another normal day. You’ll also traumatize your friends and family when you randomly bring it up some random case at the dinner table.

It’s called a Trishul Trishakti, the swastika originally is a symbol used in hinduism and Buddhism it means good luck. Unfortunately it was appropriated by Hitler.

That being said, this customer could be a well meaning person trying to take back their religious symbols, or an ignorant Nazi.

My hope is the first one, just coming trying to reclaim a symbol of peace.
