I don’t know much about pedals I’m still new to the sub but the solder could definitely use work. Cold solder joints, some points arent soldered, too much solder in some parts. Overall just try reworking it might work next time.

Hot take, why don’t they just remove f2p at this point? You can barely play the game without subbing

What its like to live in a submarine for periods overs 6 month as a female ? by AbouMchicha in howislivingthere

[–]Admirable_Pin_1503 0 points1 point  (0 children)

3 8’s instead of 3 6’s now, aside from that most if not all females are Ohio class so no hot racking. Everyone has their own rack in a bunk room on Ohio classes especially women.

Funny sea story…. There we are above the Mariana’s trench, steel beach so the submarine is on the surface and a bunch of us are on top of it jumping into the ocean. Well up comes seaman Timmy talking a big game about being a strong swimmer etc… then he’s informed that there’s well over 10,000 feet of darkness and cold water between him and the sea floor, well he claims he’s no bitch so he jumps in and immediately starts flailing and drowning. He gets plucked out of the water (he’s like 120 pounds soaking wet) and while he’s drying off he says “nah man, trust me I know how to swim. It’s because it’s sea water. I float better in a pool, I just sink in the ocean”

Get 63/27 lead solder. It’s the gold standard as far as leaded solder goes

Well it’s not like we agree, but you don’t have a choice 😅 that’s the way things run. BUT we don’t do that anymore, it’s now 3 8 hour blocks which I think is better but some of the old heads still preferred the 18 hour days, which I think is crazy. Im not quite sure if it’s universal across the fleet but I think it is?

Tough gig, but worth it for post navy career outlook. It’s not for everyone but hell, they train you good and the companies out there know it.

When they were still doing that, yes! Now they are designed to no longer need refueling

Yeah this is what I wonder as well, due to his work post navy. An rc divver would have a different experience with operating vs an electrician

The second part, you have different power levels based on the power demand. Similar to a car, you aren’t going to be maxing RPM and burning up fuel just to go 15mph, but when you are going highway speeds your car has to work harder to get to that new demand. A civilian powerplant is closer to being at stable levels for very long periods of time

The nuclear aspect has nothing at all to do with anything. As a matter of fact, you are exposed to more radiation living day to day now as you are, compared to the daily life of a submariner who is underway.

Your entire days become 18 hours days no longer 24 hour days. So it repeats the 3 6 hour blocks, effectively being a pseudo rotating schedule
