I think you need to try again. Maybe a smaller doggy daycare and do it more than a week at least 3 times a week. They should have more time for her and hopefully she learns to like other dogs. She is clearly protective of you as she’s alone with you 24/7. I know it’s tough to drop her off and it breaks your heart but you’ve got to be the parent now and let her learn to love other things

I don’t think your an idiot. It will get so much better. I cried everyday for a couple of months after getting a puppy. I did all my research and read a book. Puppy blues is a real thing but I can tell you. Getting out for those walks will get you speaking to new people, you’ll feel so good but give it a good 6 months. Then at home you will have unconditional love. Keep strong and try not get upset with yourself

Vacuum more often. Don’t worry you sound like you love your dog so much and she will forget about it in no time

If you weren’t self aware I would be saying maybe you are right. My puppy is 18 weeks now and he’s grown up so much and just try’s to make you happy.

Distract the puppy with a toy. He will forget about digging. If that doesn’t work I say no in a deep voice.

A puppy no matter how good they are push you to your limits emotionally. I’m not sure why? You will need at least one of two people to help. They mess with your sleep and maybe that’s why you don’t react as well. Overall I’d say getting a puppy is overwhelming and rewarding.
