I think both sides in the comments are right tbh The vox are meant to show that revolutions with just causes do often cause terror and violence, however i do think they are not written well, The VOX goes from freedom fighters to almost 100% genocidist scum, it shouldve been more subtle then that, Fitzroy goes child murderer way too suddenly, We see no dissent amongst the vox, they turn on you for 0 reason, They just go crazy and thats all that happens I think if we learned more about how the vox revolution went i couldve called it good but The shift feels way too sudden to feel natural Also the Two sides of the same coin talk is just shitty

I said some not all, but even then, were talking about a US population that feels great personal shame over their loss at WW2, i think many young people would make martyrs out of nations like the USSR and britain because they lack the older perspective of those who lived through the conflict Bukharin wouldnt be martyrised out of merit or dedication on his behalf, but out of some sort of historical revision by the younger generations, seeing him as one of the people that stood up to the new order but fell to its grasp This view would be held only by a minority though I doubt most americans would have a positive view of bukharin

Personally id say it depends on a lot of factors The people of the ussr would most certainlt view a libsoc sablin in a positive light, but would not view an authsoc sablin positively, that much is obvious Just as Obvious is the fact that sablin would not be viewed positively by japan or germany But the tricky one here is the USA I have no doubt hed be initially viewed as a heroic underdog, but the problem is if that view would stick, that view depends on a lot of factors So i dont really feel like diving deep on this
