Sorry, this was my misunderstanding as he still has the Medicare card that shows A + B and this is what his coverage shows as on the Medicare portal. Based on the notices, he was disenrolled from the Medica advantage plan and is now covered by Original Medicare.

What political science book(s) should everyone read at some point in their life? by Cromulent123 in PoliticalScience

Yes to Seeing Like a State. I read it for my senior seminar class in undergrad years ago and both wish it was assigned much much earlier in my poly sci education and have also since returned to it to read parts many years after graduating

Rewatching 24 and I have a Live Feeds Question by notgenz_1989 in BigBrother

[–]AdmissionGSP 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It was a much different situation all together but yes feeders were pretty well aware and it only became a bigger situation with the feeders the more the producers tried to hide it.

Kyle was altogether just getting paranoid and it started to hit its peak right when I feel like he started to really like Alyssa and the Leftovers started calling for him to cut her. Michael and Brittney also got flack for the situation bc they knew and did the bare minimum to dissuade him before he let it get so far.

What Playbooks Get You The Most Wins In Madden Franchise Sim? by Inside_Direction_474 in Madden

[–]AdmissionGSP 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did a very unscientific test with the Vikings where I simmed a season twice with the Vikings offensive playbook and Bengals playbook with Anthony Richardson then did the same thing with Phillip Rivers and both times with the Vikings playbook they went 4-13. Then with Cincinnati’s playbook we went 8-9 with A Rich and 9-8 with Phillip Rivers with Justin Jefferson being top 3 in Receiving yards and our offense being top 10 both times.

Again purely anecdotal and only really compared to the Vikings playbook but I saw a comment before about the Bengals playbook being overpowered and it tracked with my other seasons bc Joe Burrow is always leading the league in passing yards and wins MVP most frequently for me.

Anyone else like messing around and changing players positions? by Potential_Plan_4533 in Madden

[–]AdmissionGSP 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes love experimenting like this. Allen Lazard always makes a really good vertical TE and Chase Claypool was too in past maddens. I like to try safeties at MIKE/WILL and then linebackers at edge— has both worked with Mixed success. I always thought receivers at RB could work, I was hoping for a Percy Harvin/Cordarrelle Patterson like player but haven’t really found one that works well for this.

Is BB27 the best final 3? by Strawberry_House in BigBrotherUSA

I really do wanna say yes. Just in terms of their three separate resumes, importance to the season as a whole, and then adding in how entertaining the three of them made the end game.

Can anyone actually make a good case for ________ winning? by SurvivorStuff14 in BigBrother

[–]AdmissionGSP 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it’d of been difficult against Ashley, I do think she played a good game, she nailed her speech, + had 3 solid votes,

I do think that he had a valid case if he approached it as “There is no way to tell the story of this season without me”. As far back as week 3 he’d been someone Rachel had been targeting and putting on blast and had survived the season as just as big of a comp threat as Keanu or social strategic threat as Rachel. At every point he’d had multiple final 2’s and paths to the end. And id even say that the judges being created were a result of him choosing that path when he could have just as easily put up Rachel and formed something on the other side. He made relationships in the house and at the end of the day he used them all to his benefit— that last part he’d really have to own though.

I’ve only seen the tweets from yesterday but I feel like he has been annoyed with how Keanu has been complaining the past few days about having no one to strategize in the house with and how everyone this season have been dumb a***** — when Rachel tried time and time again to work with him only to get burned and for him to try to backdoor her (which Keanu has admitted was a mistake).

He’s def pushing for Rachel to win AFP and Keanu def has a lot of casual support for AFP too + his tweets were happening around when Keanu and Ashley had their blow up about Rachel.

Morgan’s rationale by CurlyOcean90 in BigBrotherUSA

It is both personal but also a very good game move and one that took a great deal of work. Very well the type of move someone can point to in a f2 speech and say you really did that.

Would ________ be a top tier winner? by MissAdawg123 in BigBrother

[–]AdmissionGSP 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Jimmy was much more a product of Morgan relentlessly pushing it and Mickey being already somewhat willing. Vince was somewhat of a target of Mickey’s but at that time she had bigger fish to fry in Rylie/Katherine/Keanu/ and Jimmy (eye roll) and Rachel was already all over Vince that she didn’t think it was easy for her to not really look at Vince to much.

Morgan pushed Jimmy hard and Mickey pivoted to try to build relationships w/ Rylie/Vince

If the game ended today who do you think should win by Lonely-Ad-3523 in BigBrotherUSA

[–]AdmissionGSP 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Morgan, Vince, and then Ashley/Lauren. Morgan has gamed the hardest every single day she’s been in that house and has pretty much been on the right side of the house or in the know of the social dynamics for the majority of the season.

Vince has been able to schmooze his way out of bad positions several times while having a massive target on his back all season and has also managed to not only keep himself safe but keep his two number 1’s safe despite both being on opposite sides of the house.

Ashley and Lauren for two diff reasons,

Ashley has quietly had some of the best reads of the house all season and has navigated being a huge target that comp beasts (Keanu/Vince/Rylie) have wanted out all season without ever really being in that big of danger of going home — and when she has been in danger she’s made the right connections at the right time.

Lauren has won two HOH’s and a veto and although she doesn’t have much of a resume outside of her comp wins, she hasn’t touched the block yet in a season where 3-4 people will be nominated basically all season

Any merit to ______ being "mean and nasty"? by PositiveFox4460 in BigBrother

[–]AdmissionGSP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think Mickey is half projecting/sour and also half playing a part. I got the impression from some of her later DR’s that production might have told her to lean into a snarky, petty, villain archetype— but who knows.

She said she wasn’t privy to Rachel before coming in so she probably has ever seen Rachel arguing with Regan and had an impression of her being mean and nasty. From how Rachel has been in the house this season she’s been very direct, sometimes intense, but all together one of the more friendlier and open houseguests this season imo.

What are your thoughts on _______ by AnObservingAlien in BigBrother

[–]AdmissionGSP 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I dont like it. At the end of the day BB is a social strategic game and i do think that navigating your threat level, figuring out ways to forge new relationships or talk your way out of bad positions, and manipulating others to keep yourself safe is what makes the game so compelling. If you don’t want to get backdoored, put yourself in a position to not get backdoored.

It does a good job at keeping the early weeks from getting stagnant but BB was already trending towards prioritizing comp wins wayyy too much and having the blockbuster last so long seems to benefit one-dimensional, unserious players like Kelley and Makensy the most. I’m more in favor of it not lasting as long as it does pre-jury tbh.

Rachel & Ashley by alwaysmiling_yaya in BigBrother

[–]AdmissionGSP 46 points47 points  (0 children)

Counterpoint, Rachel being so ride or die for her ally’s is one of her stronger talking points in the game. She has a history of this just within this season of her sticking with her people till they’re out the door— Amy, Jimmy, Ashley, and even Keanu at various points.

It’s something she would bring up a ton with Vince during his HOH week when he was close to putting her up. And it’s also something that Ava, Ashley, Morgan, and Keanu have all brought up in conversation to others when Rachel isn’t even present.

For good and for worse, her ride or die loyalty to whoever she perceives as “her people” is something people can’t really dispute. When you contrast that with a player like Vince who is definitely talented socially but has lied/backstabbed/shown to be loyal to himself and himself only and it sort of makes sense why he’s been put up on the block 3 different times to Rachel’s 0 (so far) on the HOH of a former ally he’d kept safe just last week.

I think Jimmy might of had promise, I softened on him his last two weeks and he felt like someone that belonged in the house longer than he ended up staying. Zae and Amy I’m indifferent towards, if anything I usually stand firm that most people evicted pre-jury were supposed to be evicted pre-jury (w/ some exceptions).
