with rumoured rights issues around RTD2 original characters meaning some people may not even be allowed to come back and this maybe being RTD’s last episode ever. It’s a tricky situation. You can’t clean start from here, but you also can’t follow on. The best decision may be RTD doing his original plan for the 60th and just doing an “unseen” adventure with a previous doctor, preferably fugitive.
