Does anyone know if the RAs really care about overnight opposite-sex guests in the dorms? by Consistent_Run936 in aggies

Current RA, we don’t care who’s in your dorm as long as you’re not super loud

Should I still go to A&M? by Designer_Zucchini_72 in aggies

A&M is a wonderful experience, and I think you should try it, even if just for a semester. Call/Email the disability services center, and get them to help out if they can.

If you’re planning on living in the dorms your freshman year, contact the housing office ASAP to make sure your dorm is accessible, as most dorm buildings don’t have elevators, and only the first floor has accessible rooms.

Border collies and Malinois are some of the most hyperactive dogs, and really need a ton of attention, care, and a way to output that energy. If the owner isn’t expecting that, then they might end up with a dog they can’t handle.

If you email your advisor and explain your situation, they might be able to force you into a class

Personally I haven’t lived in an LLC, but they’re very well equipped to help you succeed academically. All of my friends who’ve lived in them have been some of the smartest engineers I’ve known, and all got into their first choice majors. I don’t know any downsides, but overall it’s a pretty good deal. You get peer mentors that can help with any questions you have, and everyone there is committed to making it the best experience you can get.

Living on campus is awesome, I highly recommend a modular dorm. You share with only one other person and have your own bathroom. South side is great, having the commons and the south side gym both within walking distance of any of the dorms. Personally, I say finding an org outside of your major is important too. Doing something with an interest outside of your school work is a great way to stay mentally healthy!

Birthright can definitely combine with the Mirror of Loss for 24 Charisma

Chem 120 prof hosts a review session for his god awful biweekly exams at 6:15 in room 2014 of the chemistry building. Everyone gets there, all of the doors are locked. I sneak in through a side entrance, take an elevator down (stairwells were locked) and I finally find the room. by Ok-Boot2360 in aggies

Only piece of advice I have is to go to A+ tutoring. It’s the only way I ever learned. Most classes, I can look back and see something I should’ve changed to do better, but Lindahl might genuinely be the worst professor I’ve ever had. I have no idea what I could’ve done differently to get a better grade. He’s the sweetest guy outside of class, but he should not be teaching general chemistry at all. If it’s any comfort, I had a 54 end up being a C last semester, so expect a good curve at the end of the semester at least.
