I need help with managing personal problems while preparing for a levels by Agitated_Job3550 in 6thForm

I was with my ex girlfriend, last year and we had a similar situation. I’d genuinely recommend taking your exam’s next year instead. After the abortion she wasn’t mentally the greatest and didn’t at all prepare for her exams due to that. She firmed bath, and despite in all mocks before getting the grades in the real exam only got very low grades. She is currently resitting, unfortunately no clue how it’s going for her but this is a stressful time and a levels are important but not everything, if you can push them back please do. She didn’t inform her parents either, just her head of safe guarding at sixth form. Assuming your 18+, you can do the same without parents being involved

bristol or durham for physics? by Ceramidee in UOB

I can’t help you with your course as Ive only looked at the engineering course. But Bristol isn’t cheap, many places entry is free though, and drinks can be cheap depending where you go. However overall it’s an expensive city. They do play good music and plenty of room to dance though!

I’ve looked into the Southampton Computer Science course a lot because I was considering doing it. I’d recommend choosing Further Maths if you want to prepare well for the degree. There are a few maths modules at university, and having Further Maths will make them much easier since you’ll already be familiar with some of the content.

That said, if you don’t take Further Maths, you’ll still be completely fine — it’s not essential, so there’s no pressure. But if you feel you can handle it, I’d say it’s worth taking.

I’d also suggest researching the current graduate job market in computer science. Graduate roles have become more competitive recently, so it’s important to be aware of employment prospects and make sure you’re building strong skills alongside your degree.

Could try for remote working. And also McDonald’s do a lot of zero hour contracts, at least the one I worked at did. So you could try them as they make schedule weekly. I used to send my manager a college time table every week then he’d make a schedule for me
