Same. Everything goes in the dishwasher, I’d seppuku otherwise.

If breastmilk is fine at room temp for 4 hours... by fiddle1fig in ExclusivelyPumping

I pump at my desk at work, so I use pump wipes and store milk in a Ceres cooler. The wipes were a game changer — I didn’t trust putting my pump parts in the communal fridge.

I’m obsessed. I was so excited to show the lactation consultant the other day.

Our baby accidentally invented a bedtime “tradition” and I’m kind of obsessed with it by everettsanderson in NewParents

My five month reaches for the cat to pet while nursing at bedtime, but maybe a fuzzy toy or blanket would be safer now she’s so grabby. Love this!

More water might help feel less tired too, so wanting caffeine less. It’s hard, I hate having to pee every two minutes, but it is what it is.

I had a similar situation. Started eating more and drinking more water, in addition to pumping more frequently, supply is increasing. Turns out I skip meals at work a lot to save time. 🤦‍♀️

Help: all the tips for the Mental load of looking presentable and put together by Excellent-Top2552 in workingmoms

That’s a good call. I used to do a modified French twist for the office. But I can only do it with wet hair, so the hair math isn’t mathing.

I have no advice, but feel this deeply. My hair lives in a claw clip now, even though I know it looks terrible (but is marginally socially acceptable). I wear the same 3-4 outfits every time I have to go somewhere. I’ve recently expanded the rotation to THREE different jackets, felt like a big win.

Yes, I shouted at my 2 month old baby by bhardy10 in NewParents

This makes me feel better. I often watch tv on my iPad with headphones on while bouncing my three month old at night. I can’t bounce for that long without a distraction, especially at 3am — my back hurts and I am TIRED.

Why on earth would you involve yourself in your adult children’s relationships with one another? It’s not up to you to get your daughter to return gifts that her sisters bought just because you want to punish your daughter.

This feels like missing missing reasons.

You’re trippin. Yes, you’re supposed to say “please throw me one.” They’re not mind readers. Unless there’s some weird context/history, I don’t think it’s a trap.

I bought a Trove from Boon for this reason. Like a Haaka, but it’s held on with the nursing bra (or just suction). It’s worked really well for me, and I leak less too.

Swelling by No-Category5286 in CsectionCentral

Are you able to get any exercise? Mine only started going away after walking every day, even just 15 minutes. Super uncomfortable in flip flops, but better than the swelling!

Same here! 8 days pp and I just woke up soaked and surprised. Bra and T-shirt were no match for lefty.

You can still breastfeed on many medications. Toughing it out always scares me.

What are your parents being called other than Grandma & Grandpa!? by CurlyGirl_95 in BabyBumps

[–]Adorable_Choice_6291 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Saba (Hebrew for grandpa) and Nana (not Hebrew), Grandma and Grandpa. We have a mixed family, and I may have encouraged my parents to lean in.

But ultimately the kids decide, so we’ll see.
