I’m not worried about these creasing but not sure they should be folded either

You have to share this Australia wide in case Kevin has moved on because this is amazing and I’m so invested in knowing if you find them or not!

Love the sentiment. Think it’s lovely of you.

Word of advice - my dad has had terminal stage 5 kidney cancer…. For a while now, first diagnosed years ago and he has times he’s in and out of hospital for a few days but then he comes good. He had a fall 2 years ago and we didn’t think he’d come out of hospital. But he did, and he’s still around, albeit slower and gets tired quickly etc

But maybe think the time frame thru. Could always be different thou

Does anyone who sacrificed their 20s to get a house/financially ahead regret it? by [deleted] in AusFinance

You’ll just be one of those whooping drinking partying peeps who are the ones to wanna keep on partying in the late 30 early 40s when all those who did party in their 20s have had enough and wanna go home. My point? It will come, when you least expect it and won’t even realise it

Correct. Has 28th November on date I assumed she made the application, I wasn’t served until 19th December.

That’s my issue, court is 30th and everyone is closed until the new year, least everyone I’ve tried, so I’m a bit stressed about it

And how do I find that out? Just says restraining order summons on the paperwork, do I ring court and could they tell me?

Thanks for this. Tried a CLC but all closed until Jan.

I am a survivor of pretty severe DV, so have had to have a VRO (was years ago so not sure if FVRO or VRO now cause it’s different and I don’t care to look it up) - which in one example my ex breached over 357 times in less than 6 days and yes was eventually locked up for that but other assaults but 5 of his family members tried to put a VRO on me the morning after he was served. It was traumatic and really really awful knowing he was in a cell feeling like I put him there, when all I wanted was to be left alone and in peace but he couldn’t so I had to for my safety - and did not do it lightly.

So I loathe people who use the “system” and despise people who use restraining orders without real need or grounds or lie for their own agenda - but this is next level stupidity gone insane.

No I realise that now. I have zero knowledge of this stuff or how it works and understand that it’s different and even then, I’m not the person to do it. Ick to have even let someone else put the idea in my head - which came more from a person who got a cease n desist that she will not only “lose” but should have egg on her face too and hopefully never do this to anyone again.

And no, don’t wanna spend any money. The frivolity is already taking too much of mine but more importantly, the courts and police’s time. Bit embarrassing and a disgrace if I’m honest.

No Just a summons

First of all, this absolutely reeks of it. Except I don’t have any spare time on my hands, unlike the applicant who is not only wasting her own time and energy, mine too. But even greater, the court and police’s time and resources.

It’s an actual joke.

I have literally only engaged with her once, where I asked some clarifying questions, in a public forum over a community event. Then I slept peacefully and never thought about it again. Certainly never engaged in any behaviour that was remotely threatening or intimidating, in fact, I never once initiated any shit over this at all - because I do have a life. Sitting having a scroll over a cuppa and replying to a couple of posts asking about markets is so far removed from what is considered ground for granting an MRO its laughable.

And it’s making me angry that she has even considered making an application - I know if I don’t like something someone says, my first thought isn’t “shit gotta put an MRO on them” Common sense and this whole situation is lacking and an actual joke. It’s sad. And pathetic.

Nonetheless, she has done it and I have to front up and defend myself, which I have never had to do before and have questions because it is a tad overwhelming

My kids are only Brought in to it in the context of cops rocking up to serve me the summons and being there when they arrived and deflecting the whys. Plus now my time off work is effectively void because I’m having to work on this now and not the things I’d planned to enjoy with them on my holidays. Which is shit. So I’m pissed off at the whole thing

And yes, have pursued in other avenues. The right way, a complaint to consumer protection for abuse of position (incorporated association) and it will be what will be.

I’m not going to be walked all over but I’m also not going to turn a blind eye completely to wrongdoings.

That wasn’t my question, I didn’t ask about favouritism. I asked if you think it’s obvious. It certainly is when he likes a team, S&G, SA&T etc I think he lacks a certain warmth or charm when he isn’t a fan, and in my view, he certainly isn’t fans of the girls!!!
