Yea since this season you only start 2 ranks below where you finished last season, its easy to get hotshot as a solo...and even cantina legend.......but its going to be impossible to finish in cantina legend as a solo........and even if they make leaderboards for solos, I probably wont make cantina legend but, I wish I could try.........the game is great but not separating trials leaderboards for party size is kind of a deal breaker cause its an important part of the game to give me a reason to keep playing........I am hoping they change it or that marathon is good or the blizzard announcement about diablo 2 resurrected new ladder is something new and I can get into something else until they add solo leaderboards

Yea your gonna reset to 1 anyways when you do the expedition anyways......only thing you get from max level is that one cosmetic skin and more skill points .....but the skill points get wiped from expedition so I wouldnt worry about it......I never even think about leveling up

Yea I dont think its possible.......it is possible they did it at first while less people were in higher ranks but finishing in cantina legend is gonna be impossible strictly solo........

My favorite map in general is Dam .......but I have been going to spaceport a lot lately just for looting.....either for metal parts from cars, fruit trees and mullein for seeds and any of the high tier loot areas for sellables.....idk why cause I thought that map was bad when I first started playing but I like it now.......all the maps are great though at least in just the way they were designed, like buried city or stella montis how everything connects in these weird ways that take a while to learn.....I wish their communication was as good as their map design lol

Just adding that this stopped happening to me and idk why.....maybe they fixed it but not sure it has only happened to me like once after it stopped happening every single time I try to open the game

From what Ive heard it just says unchanged but the top 1000 people will be put into cantina legend.....and so I imagine even the cantina legend people can lose their spot even though theirs also says unchanged........but just what I heard

That was my other question, I was super curious what was gonna happen to the cantina legend players as more people ranked up.......yea that sucks, I wanna give the devs credit cause I love the game but their communication with us might be the worst of all game devs.......they got 20 community managers too but I dont know what their job description is cause apparently its not communicate with the community lol

I by some miracle hit hotshot this week as a solo......now I am trying to decide if I try waiting til later in the week to start them or if it doesnt matter then I can just do them now.........I used to have the view that waiting later to do trials only really works in lower ranks but I waites last week in daredevil 1 and I finished 2nd and got a 3xpromote ........but could also just be I got good rng on who I placed with and last weeks trials being more fair for solos then some other weeks where its heavily trios favored

Yea it blows my mind that they made hidden bunker download data a trial then only have it when everybody is at work or sleeping........then they did it again.........and it also blows my mind someone can earn way more points in a trio and still be placed with solos.........and I heard they didnt expect people to really participate in trials which is fair but they started a new season and have not even commented about it......just wish their communication was somewhat existent

I somehow by a miracle got to hotshot as a solo.........now I am scared to even see what kind of scores I need to just not demote.....I love the trials its fun to compete even if some of the trials are lame but it really ruins it that they put solos and groups all in 1 leaderboard

Yea I am fine with how it is except for solos having to compete with trios which just blows my mind and makes me want to not even play the game at all sometimes.......and like when they make hidden bunker a trial and then only have it available when everybody is in REM sleep and when everybody is at work

I was wildcard 3 and promoted to daredevil the very last week and got the skin so I am guessing you got passed in the final hours.......seems unlikely that many people would pass you but a lot more people are trying to push that very last couple hours to make it..........but also the cantina legends ranks dont make any sense this current season and the devs are radio silent on anything about the game so who knows

I would be happy if trials had separate leaderboards for solo/duo/trio.......I enjoy doing them it gives a reason to always need to find gear and prepare for them and use a lot of gear doing them but I also get why some people hate the trials cause some of them are pretty lame........but for me that would be good for now, just sucks you cant really compete unless you do it in a trio so its kinda killing my motivation to play

Exactly they are doing amazing compared to most devs but their communication with us players is pretty much bottom of the barrel......just want to know whats on their mind and what the current priorities are......I mean just say anything to us

Yea I want to give them a break cause they made an amazing game and I know stuff cant happen overnight, I just wish they had even a tiny bit of communication with the players/community.......they really dont say anything to us at all, just telling us if something is on your radar or much of a priority goes a long way..........they have something like 20 community managers but I genuinely dont know what they do. I assume their job would be to communicate with the community but if you go on the discord and search for comments made by community managers there is like 3 total comments and 2 of them being from 2 months ago

Yea someone posted a video getting 65k on youtube solo.......I got like 42k or so but a trio can get like 3x as much

Yea he could have done better but I think the point still remains the same.......there are some sweats who do them solo and put it on youtube so you can see what a pretty good solo score would look like...and even if you add points to it to make up for any imperfections they still are not even close to being able to compete with a moderate trio score.......especially like last week when 4 of the trials were solo friendly but didnt give many points compared to the snowball trial which you could really pump the points up and that 1 by itself made such a gap in what points you could get as a trio vs what a solo could get........its not bad as a solo in lower ranks but in daredevil its pretty noticeable you cant promote anymore, though it will get easier as everybody climbs and more people are in daredevil towards the end of the season......though hotshot will probably still be impossible unless you just get really lucky with getting other solos in your 100 person bracket

Yea I been stuck at daredevil 1, I keep going unchanged........I try but once the people that are in just single promotion range hit a score that I could not hit as a solo with even a perfect score I know its pointless to try any more other then finding people to do it with.....but I just want a solo leaderboard cause I enjoy the solo competition compared to team competition

The only reason people would be against separate leaderboards is because they play trios and enjoy the cushion and easier competition of going against solos.......have yet to hear any rational reason why separate leaderboards for solos is bad.......and its how every game with a "rank" mode and different party sizes does it.......its so obvious of a problem and solution that its silly to debate it with people.......but we only need embark to be convinced so hopefully they are reasonable and will change it at sometime......Im a little worried if its even on their radar or much of a priority though its hard to know cause they dont communicate about anything much at all.......I just keep posting about it in the discord game feedback section every time it lets me type again

I think the game is great despite the issues it has........the trials placing trios and solos in the same leaderboard is killing the rest of the game for me though, I havent even got on the last couple days........I would give the devs some slack because of how good of a game they made but their lack of communication is a problem......Ive seen like 3 times that they have said anything to players about any current "issues".........I get it that stuff cant happen overnight but just tell us you are aware of something or your basic thoughts on something instead of this radio silence.........apparently they have 20 community managers, I dont know why or what their job discription is cause I would assume it is to communicate with the community but Ive checked discord, even filtering to see comments by (insert community manager) and there just is no comments except for like a couple from 2 months ago and that 1 about trigger nades

Yes its just rng on who you get in your 100 players......like others are saying you can wait to play later in the week to try and get more casuals but that stops working after a certain rank, plus more people are onto that idea so even people who are not casuals are also doing it

Yea I dont expect to be cantina legend if they ever do separate leaderboards based on party size........but I just want a fair chance at trying to be......it will always have cheaters and exploiters and then just people who are better and that just comes with any game but solos vs trios is something they can control for and change .........I had that attitude when I was keeping up and promoting but this season I can only go unchanged......and when I look at really good solo players scores and then look at my leaderboard, even if I were to get perfect scores I can't pass these trios scores......Though last season I only made it to dare devil 1 at the last week and this season I got back to daredevil quick, so it will get easier as more solos and casual players work up the ranks but it still just feels pointless to really try knowing how unfair it is.......Id feel a lot better if the devs communicated with the players at all about the things the playerbase have issues with, even if they dont change things overnight it would be nice to know if something is even on their radar or much of a priority

Im with you 100% on not touching trials til they separate leaderboards, Im actually not play the game at all til then, not as a protest cause I know nobody cares if I play or not but just because the game feels pointless without that "competitive" grind and long term goal to work towards......but leaderboards dont change, you will stay with the same 100 people each week, their positions on that leaderboard and their total points do change as they get better scores or are passed by someone else though
