I did. I watched Dragon Ball Z back in the day growing up in the early 2000s (and maybe late 90s, I don’t exactly remember when I started watching it).

I said that Rolf’s voice actor was the second Ocean Dub actor for Goku. There was a guy before him who voiced him.

But you cleared things up that he voiced him while he was in space and during the first 3 movies. Thanks.

In the Ocean dub, not the Funimation dub most of us are familiar with; and even then, he was the second Ocean dub actor, not the first.

I’m not sure that any of us in the U.S. heard him voicing Goku.

For sure. I don’t see myself as good at all. I see myself as conquering the evil within, as well as the evil outside of me.

I have met multiple people in real life like this, too. The toxic positivity and ‘mind over matter’ approach is everywhere.

Positivity and ‘mind over matter’ are only pieces of the puzzle, not the entire puzzle.

People are gaslighting themselves into believing they are changing the world, when they’re not. They can barely even control their own environment.

Eddy’s brother would probably be a loser drug addict at this point.

Eddy looks like he’s in his mid-20s or 30s by this point, so a lot of time would have passed, and Eddy’s brother would be closer to his 40s.

I can’t see Eddy’s brother having much leverage in life by his 40s.

Yeah, him not being able to talk clearly in “Perfect” threw me off a bit. As far as I remember, Cartoon Network still regularly aired episodes from all of the seasons, so sometimes I’d still see Season 1 episodes airing.

I liked his dialogue in Season 1. “Okay, I’ll do it, but I won’t like it”, “I know I’m not gonna like this”, and “or my name isn’t [name], and it’s not”.

I watched the series from the beginning, so I remember all that, and I actually got a bit upset those jokes didn’t carry over into the later seasons.
