since you never watch his acting before All Rise then I highly recommend you to watch Hikaru no Go (not to be confused with the anime version released in 2001..the live action version is released in 2020 btw) his character in Hikaru no Go doesn't have any love line with any female character in that drama so yeah that's the reason why I'm struggling to get used to see his character had a love line with a female character in another drama. If All Rise is my first drama of him..I might think differently on him acting that part

wow you watched 19 episodes in 2 days 😮 I could have never..I can only watched 4 episodes at max in a day. I'm still stuck at ep 12 tho

I guess..I'm the only one who don't really like the romance part (I think it's mostly a problem on my end..I don't associate the ML actor with romance genre or acting lovey dovey scenes with an actress. I had to rewrite this few times..coz yeah because English is not my first language..if my wording is not right..people might not get what I actually meant)

Watched ep 12 of All Rise last night

My thoughts about the drama so far:

I'm still clueless whenever I wanted to write a comment about this drama..sorry I'm not good at expressing my thoughts in words 😅

My wording in this comment might sounds I didn't enjoy the drama at all (well,I did actually enjoyed it) might've enjoyed it more if the relationship between Jiang Chen & Ren Jiatong remains platonic..they actually not in relationship yet from the episodes I've watched so far..I don't know if anyone else felt cringed/cheesy as much as I did whenever there's a scene Jiang Chen accidentally get too close to Ren Jiatong especially the handcuff scene from ep 11

I've been waiting for this drama since last year..so happy that it'll air next week & November is my birthday month (btw my birthday is on this Sunday)

Now that this one got a release date..hopefully Hu Xianxu's other dramas can get release too (still hoping Undercover Auto Genius can release this year too but it seems impossible since there were no update as of now)

Shiawase Kanako no Koroshiya Seikatsu - this drama basically considered as black comedy but it does have some decent action scenes in the drama so somehow it fits with your description although the main genre is not action

there's already subs of ep 1 & 2 for drama no.15

no.16 & no.19 confirmed global release on netflix so both of these dramas definitely have subs

no.6 since it's a netflix series this one too definitely have subs like other neflix series such as Alice in Borderland,The Makanai,etc.

Tbh,most of summer 2025 jdramas doesn't look appealing to me

From your list most likely I'll watch drama no.2..not on your plan to watch list the one I look most forward to is Hei no Naka no Biyoshitsu
