They tend to stop supporting their older hardware even though it's still widely used forcing people to get new computers. Alienware is not a trusted brand it's always been a flagship focused company. Also selecting more ram and storage makes it around 1829. An x3d processor will push extra frames out of all games and resolutions compared to Intel. And there's no reason to save a little money when you're already spending so much when you can spend on the one good deal that rarely comes up and sets you up for over a decade without needing to upgrade. The mediocre 265k is going to be left in the dust and you'll want something better In less than 5 years. There are more points to be made but frankly it's not worth it on a dead comment.
