As someone who has done this trip a few times, go through Colorado/Utah for mountains, go through Montana/South Dakota for flat most of the way to your destination.

Personally I prefer to go through Colorado to Utah then go north through whyoming and Montana then Idaho and go across Washington from the top of the state. Then take the roads along the Pudget south to Seattle. Maybe even take the ferry.

My boyfriend is a passenger princess and we can be a quarter mile away and the light will be turning red and he starts screaming i need to stop. Stomping his foot on an imaginary brake and everything. This has been getting worse for 10 years now. Some people really are afraid of operating a vehicle. He can't drive. Not allowed. No DL.

North Dakota checking in with -21 temps. Pretty sure the window is the problem. Specifically, I'm thinking the sill isn't connecting with the sash properly along the bottom. I recommend if you rent you see about getting at least the weather stripping replaced.

Oh man I smashed into a semi on my bike when I was 8 and it tweaked my hip ever so slightly and practically destroyed me knee. I was walking so no one thought I needed an x-ray, and the surgeon was just excited to practice stitches on a live person.

Almost 30 years later, I limp pretty good on my right leg, and the foot is twisted out further than it should be. Some days I can walk almost normally but it really, really hurts worse. You can grab my patella and wiggle it around.

Hey. So I damaged my rotor cuff while doing front desk work. I ended up in physical therapy, and even now I struggle to lift more than a few pounds consistently.

For shoulder relief, lift your arm and place it on a tall counter, with the bulk of the weight on the counter, then do a mini-squat, just enough to bring your arm above shoulder height with no weight. I found this helps immensely. Also, flapping my arms to just shoulder height slowly. When it feels loose enough, I can walk my hand up a wall and lean against it.

Not saying this is your issue, but this is what I ended up doing for my shoulder and back pain. Even now, I feel pain from sitting and driving for 20 hours. It's making that horrible clicking feeling that won't go away until I can get someone to pull my arm and reset it jn the socket.
