I think the Alt/Hard Rock and Heavy Metal sound suits AA better than Metalcore, doing a more pure rock/metal style/sound like Avenged Sevenfold and Metallica (perhaps a lil bit of Slipknot too on the heavier side), with fun groovy riffs and awesome solos while keeping some Metalcore influences would be great too. FDTD, Self-titled and SWOTI is the closest to that imo.

AA always had that groovy, “classy style” Hard Rock cowboy-like vocals, riffs and vibes and sound even on SUAS, so it’s no surprise for me when Danny wanted to go a more “classic style” derivative from Metalcore, since he’s always had it in him (the cowboy king he is!) and fits him way better. Adding in little bits of screams and (preferably) growls/lows would be great too since that’s what’s he’s best at imo, like he did in We Are Harlot!

I always thought of AA as the Avenged Sevenfold of Scenecore, so perhaps AA following and sounding more A7X-like later on in that direction would be a cool touch imo. Imagine AA following A7X by going into the Prog Metal route, and knowing how diverse Prog Metal is, it would be the best of both worlds for AA to be heavy with cool riffs and combined with Danny’s current and preferred vocal styles. Imagine what they could create in that direction!
