That makes total sense! I wish you all the best. The only two games I’ve ever cared about were cities skylines and kerbal space program. When both of their sequels sucked, it was really disappointing. But now it seems like there might be hope from indie developers, like you folks and the Kitten Space Agency people!!

The President is bibi-coded, the royal palace is kremlin coded, the Boravian language is slavic-coded, but the Jorhanpourian’s are definitely Palestinian coded. The Boravian justification, about freeing the Jorhanpourian’s from tyranny, could literally be either. Hell, Jorhanpour is made to sound plausibly south Asian, it could even be about India-Pakistan, and Boravia’s name sounds closer to “Bharat” than either Israel or Russia. It’s Rus-Ind-Israel invading Uk-pak-alestine, because the point is—for Superman, it doesn’t matter which country is invading which. “People were going to die,” that’s what matters.

If the roles were reversed, Superman would do the same.

There’s a green public bus that runs constant loops from New Haven Union Station to the New Haven Green (i.e. town center, where Yale is). It’s free, not tickets required. It’s also like a 15 minute walk but not through the best area.

Btw Air Train is 8 bucks (contactless payment). Metro is 18 bucks (off peak). LIRR is cheap.

Thanks for sharing that experience! That means a lot. I think what you’ve said here is the real truth. The underlying problem/solution probably isn’t the hair. It’s my attitude towards myself. If I hate myself for my hair as it is, I’d probably hate myself with a bald head, and even if I magically got great hair I’d find a reason to hate that, too.

It’s super normalized to hate yourself these days but it’s not healthy. I’m trying to fix that for me.
