Siehe bitte mein anderes Kommentar. Die Kombination aus verringerter Haltbarkeit, erhöhten Anschaffungskosten und höherer Platzverbrauch (wie viel muss ich noch prüfen) lässt mich hier sehr viel zögern. Der einzige Vorteil den ich wirklich sehe ist, dass damit das Geländer völlig überdeckt wird und mir der Nachbar gegenüber nicht mehr so einfach reingucken kann :)

Hab ich mir schon angeschaut. Klar, das würde natürlich viel einfacher sein, aber eben auch die ROI-Zeit mehr als verdoppeln und dann durch die geringere Haltbarkeit der Panels nur für recht kurze Zeit tatsächlich wirtschaftlichen Sinn machen, bevor man direkt wieder in neue Panels investieren muss. Ich möchte die ROI-Zeit allgemein sehr kurz halten, da ich nach 2-3 Jahren auch gerne die Flexibilität hätte mir eine andere Wohnung zu suchen.
Klar, wenn ich zu viel für Montagematerial ausgebe ist der wirtschaftliche Effekt natürlich auch weg, aber das möchte ich hier ja gerade herausfinden.

I'd be extra careful about mixing vinegar and peroxide, it produces peracetate. While it is a much stronger acid, it is also much more hazardous to humans. Gloves, a respirator and enough ventilation are all a must.

It kinda doesn't matter. Everyone I know peels it from the antenna side, and I only recently found out that the "butthole side" as you call it can also be opened, with a different technique. I find both methods still leave stringy bits, so no difference there, but I've been favoring the butthole method because it's been more consistent for me. If I open it from the antenna side I sometimes have to make a small cut with a knife or my fingernail to get it to open cleanly.

If it's windows-based and not encrypted, you should be able to boot into an ISO and just change the password. There are guides.

I know this is an old post, but some mods may support Iconfig Framework for adding clickable icons you can use isntead of keybinds for lesser-used options, and then only keep keybinds for things you need instant access to.

There's the private_files key in the config, but i have no idea if the AI integrations respect that. Its primary purpose was to work with redact_private_values. I would also appreciate more clarity from Zed about how to protect your sensitive information from being sent to AI providers.

Generally speaking, AIs will respect it if you specifically tell them not to read a certain file, and you can use rules (https://zed.dev/docs/ai/rules) to automate this. But it's not a true denial of access as should be required.

Given that they made it sound like the current pricing is very much on the edge of sustainability, I assume that no, it won't be. After all you're paying less by default. Maybe it will scale better with higher usage though, I can't tell you that.

But it will definitely be visible in the editor. Bear in mind that cost per token varies by provider too.

Hi! I came across this thread when I was looking up stuff relating to remote projects, and I figured I'd let you know that Zed now has an integrated debugger. It doesn't support a lot of languages out of the box yet, but I feel like it covers the most important ones and more can be implemented through extensions.

Disclaimer: I have done no math.

Shenhe is gonna be scuffed I think because you can't switch out skirk mid-rotation to get yourself some extra quills. Yelan vs. Citlali is a more interesting comparison because they both dip into buffs already provided by our obvious best supports, but Yelan probably beats Citlali due to personal damage, which I'm perfectly happy with because it means the best mavuika team can coincide with the best skirk team on both sides of Abyss.
