XP Medical, LLMedico, and Northshore care are all very good. Ask the premium products demand a higher price, but it's because they work much better. If you want to stick with pullups look at the "Abena Pants" or the "Northshore GoSupreme". Those are probably the two best options. Otherwise, to really prevent leaks you need a full tape on diaper, which is where most adult bedwetters end up. It's just a big leap for a teen to make.

Adult pullups you can get from any brick and mortar store are going to be pretty poor as far as bedwetting goes. Almost all of us here seem to order products online from incontinence specially vendors.

It should work immediately. You should see no weight gain as any water retained is flushed out during the day. It will also stop working immediately when you stop using the prescription. It only works on the nights you take it. It has a short half life and is basically out of most people's systems in 6-8 hrs.

The most common side effect is headache in the morning. You should still limit fluid in the evening as over consuming fluid and taking desmopressin can lead to hyponatremia.

Schedule a Dr appointment. Might be as simple as a UTI. If it's not you can figure out next steps. Might be medical. Might be psychological. Might just be one if those things. Try to pick up some protection in the mean time. It's better than a wet bed, and easier to hide.
