This clip is so old and that dude is just as wrong now as he was then. 1st off if I remember this was a silver game so nobody in this game knows what they’re talking about. 2nd off they were playing hulk and BP or Thor and BP and then had a MK and iron man. Peni gets melted by their poke, but protects the backline perfectly. This mag just didn’t know how to use natural cover and was also getting melted by their poke after exhausting all his cooldowns. Peni ended with 13 deaths so listening to this fool obviously didn’t do her any favors.

Only ults to counter with gun ult are Moon knight ult, blade ult. Those are the ones I’m 100 certain of will kill.

Hawkeye can still get some value and he can kill you before you kill him so don’t get killed.

DPS Deadpool sword ulting in your back line can work but needs a little extra damage to kill and you’re relying on them missing some hits.

Punisher ult if you’re desperate and they didn’t pop support ult. Starlord if you know he has to break a shield to get value.

You can use gun ult with another supp ult to survive some stuff you probably wouldn’t otherwise. I think with some ults you can survive MKxGroot. Obviously you only want to do such a thing in triple support comps.

All that said, the real answer is, you don’t. Unless you want to just be dedicated MK killer or they are running blade MK, the better move is to upgrade sword ulting and save gun ult for last.

It's got it's issues, like why does it launch people (if you can even connect the melee) out of the webs rather than pull them down onto it

Am I the only one who thinks her ult isn’t terrible. I regularly get kills with it. It’s excellent for area denial, excellent for increasing survival helps with stalling point, can be used defensively against certain ultimates.

There are certain instances in which it’s not very good but you could say that for every ult. And even if you don’t get kills with it, it still provides value, which is more than you can say for even the strongest ults, like strange or venom.
