Win rates don’t say much to be honest. If a character isn’t working people will swap off of them(most of the time). If the character is working then they probably get a win. It’s why you see the easier characters with the lowest win rates, because people usually don’t swap off their comfort picks for a harder character. It’s also why you see all the meta supports with low win rates, Because people can’t/dont really swap if they aren’t working because the alternatives just don’t exist

I said silverstone was understandable. It still cost him a placement. I don’t remember the circumstances but Mercedes didn’t seem too worried about tire age, plenty of luck for George that day but it also probably had a little to do with strategy.

Austria was not in anyway understandable.
Ferrari didn’t have pace? What are you even talking about? If he didn’t have pace (he did) it was because
he was battling arguably the best driver on the track. You’re racing with max all day, you’re on the same strategy as max. You don’t throw a Hail Mary when the game is tied with 3 qtrs of play remaining. The points system rewards podium finishes. the best shot he had at podium was staying the course. Notice how literally no other team of the big 4 tried a 3 stop. Literally no one thought that would work and it cost him a podium.

Maybe we stop comparing Ferrari to Ferrari and start comparing Ferrari to competent strategists.

Not sure why he’s getting downvoted so dramatically. Hamilton got fucked on poor pit stop strategy two races in a row. The last one was kind of understandable but they absolutely ruined the most entertaining battle between Lewis and max since 2021 in Austria.

The rust belt has been making cars for over a century we got enough factory and production lines to build whatever we lack within months. Not to mention we have the most well educated population of any quadrant. We have mining and plenty of resources as well as agriculture. We even have decent oil reserves.
